does it do anything?

I need to use all 10 points to get to 5600 on my cores, am I missing something by not putting points into "condition?"

All you're missing is a bit of condition on the final assembly. The effect of condition assembly on cores and segments is somewhat minor, but it is there. Most customers won't notice.

reason I asked, is that as far as I noticed, there is not "condition" stat on the cores.

Yup, on normal armors that max at 50K its at most 2k. I have found that with RIS and BH bracers this seems to be doubled. Don't make faction but I expect a 1.5 multiplier would exist since as a rough rule of thumb the condition of faction appears to be about 1.5 x of normal and RIS and Mando and BH bracers are about 2x of normal.

aye, there is a hidden condition on cores, so it does "pay" to make the protection exp an amazing one to save a point for condition.

I never seem to get amazing successes. Admittedly, I just made 3 cores last night to play around with it, but out of a total of 30 experimentation attempts, I got 28 greats, 1 good, and 1 crit fail.

Other than using a 15.0 tool, musician buffs, and a droid crafting station, what can I do to increase my chances of hitting amazing successes? Isa static station better?

Try some high quality Bespin Port for increased experimenation successand Pyollian Cake for increased assembly success. The port has a short duration so take your time, watch your buff icon andand drink a sip of port as neededfor each experimentation attempt. If you get filled up, take a break for a few minutes with your crafting window open till you can drink more.

I ask so many arcane armor questions, I'm pleased to be able to contribute in an area I'm actually competent in.

Crafting in a city with Research specialization helps as well.

Good one. I forgot about when I used to shuttle to a research city with my crafting droid to make my chef schematics and then head back to my house to load my factories. I must've gotten some funny looks when I used to shuttle in, stand next to my droid for a few minutes and then shuttle back out.

Are crafting droids generally as good as stationary stations....and if it "depends" how can I tell?
