Maybe the folks in the Merchant forum would know. They're more into the business end of things than we are.

Honestly I wouldn't say they would be worth much, cause I was out in a group doing voritor missions and out of every missions I got at least 2 scales if not more..... and on top of that they are for bone armor.... so nobody really wants them....unless u are all about getting some really heavy duty energy absorbant armor... most ppl skip that and go straight to composite

theres two kinds. one is only good for bone armor and is most likely completely useless. the other kind is good for any armor and is probably work something.

Hide segments are less useful, and more useful in bone armor.

Scales are used in all armor. Good for raising kinetic effectiveness.

Looted quite a bit of them. Are they useful and what are they used for?

I believe they can be used as optional components in the crafting of armor and/or clothing. Not sure though.

If you wonder about an item it could help to read the description on it.

"Can be used in the creation of bone armor" or something like that gives you a good hint what they are for.

Yep, Bone armor *shudder*

Not bad if you're going to be doing Npc missions, and want to look like a total noob in your complete brand new set of noob armor, craftable by artisans...(think week 1 here)
