Heh, I remember a few other SOE promises, too. Guess we just have to see if consumer-based colorization fits in with the "vision" that a few certain red names have for armor.

While I definitely hope so, I'm not exactly optimisitc about our chances.

I'll /sign. I miss being able to wear my red double robe, red comp helmet, carry around a pikeman weapon and look like one of the Royal Guards.

This is an excellent solution to all the damn woes about color of armor.

Can even make is craftable at Novice so that new armorsmiths will have a viable product like the upgrade kits.

I remember these exact same petitions a year ago. Look what that got us.

But w/e. I'll sign. It's still a good idea, even though the Dev's have ignored it.

well it was more then a promise, really, in the design features when they where going over the new armor system, one of the thigns they had included was coloring kits, I really don't know what happened to them, but I'm guessing fell through the cracks when it was all pushed out so fast.

Well, that's good to know. Really, colorization kits are a "no-brainer" in terms of adding craftable items that would be beneficial to players.

Now, where should the schematic be granted? I know a lot of folks would say Novice Armorsmith, or maybe somewhere in the Techniques line. I could also see it going to Tailors or Master Artisans. I really don't care where it goes ... I just want the onus of coloring lifted from my shoulders.

Don't care where it the schema is granted either, as long as someone gets to craft it.

I get a ton of custom armor orders and only a few of those are because of color so I don't think it would hurt you at all. Besides that, how much armor have you thrown away because it wasn't just the right color? I've had customers go away unhappy because I couldn't get just the right shade of purple on their marauder arm pieces even though I could get it on the marauder chest (different palette problem). This is total crap. The basis of identity in ANY online game is being able to customize your own look.

So if it isn't obvious, I'm signing this.
