The maurader addition is nice but we need some craftable armor to get some slots for skill attachments. I've tested my Wookie MBH in pvp combat and against higher end mobs and have seen a huge disadvantage to those wearing armor. One example was the other night when an Armorsmith wearing composite he made out performed and lasted longer against some Tuskens we were battling. I did ok taking out a bunch but over time a few got in some high end shots that just pounded me, the armorsmith had no trouble at all and ended up having to tank for me , kind of embarrasing. Also in pvp , whether one on one or in groups i noticed i was dying much quicker than the rest of my group, i could hang for awhile then a few good shots and my medic abilities couldnt hold up. I have tried fully buffed and still find i'm having a harder time hanging in a prolonged pvp encounter.I'm not one to complain, the extra HAM bonuses are nice but in PVP its really a disadvantage. If anyone else feels this way please leave your sign and any examples you would like to add. When i first developed the character i did not know of the armor restrictions for wookies since it wasnt in the manual and didnt happen to figure out all the disadvantages till i was way into bounty hunter. Please add your comments. I'm not a newbie at pvp, like i said i tested it pretty extensively and have noticed the disadvantages. In general PVP in this game is unbalanced but i'd like to raise my voice for wookies !!

wookies get benifits other characters do not and it was clearly stated that they were not able to wear armor. If you get armor you should lose all of your other benifits. I am sick of the wookie whining. You deserve nothing. And yes I am trolling because it is the end of my workday and I am being lazy.

In order to stay within the restraints of consistancy between galaxies and the EU I am against the implementation of "armor" for wookiees. I would have no problems with an implementation of a protective layer for pre existing wookiee only smocks and hoods. Where to get these reinforced layers is anyones guess (armorsmith crafted / bioed / etc).

First of all, you are a complete idiot. I would expect a more informative and factual response from a Community Veteran.

Secondly, it was NOT cleared stated in Either the Manual or During Character creation that Wookiees cannot wear armor. It was NOT stated at all.

Thirdly, the numbers have been proven over and over that a wookie with 13% stat increase does not even compare to someone with 80% resist composite. Not even to mention the lack of skill mods we lose from Armor Attachments.

This issue is Unfair and has been that way since release, and because wookiees fight to be Balanced with all other races does not make us whiners.

In my opinion, anyone who cannot see the facts and still oppose us getting some form of armor are the whiners.

Are you afraid the Devs are going to remove the only player in SWG you can kill in PvP or something??

Well stated. Arasett you basically summed it all up. There is no info in the manual at all and there is no way you could have known about wookies not getting armor if you bought the game day one like i did. The HAM advantages are meaningless with buffing. My other suggerstion is get rid of this 80% resist crap, what is everyone in a tank? They should make max resist 50% for ever species and let the tactics in pvp judge who wins. The whole combat system is crap and honestly i'm thinking of moving on from SWG since the PVP aspect drew me in. To make maters worse i had to make a wookie MBH with no armor and no armor attachments available. Guess i should just delete him and make a human or something but i won't go through MBH. Damn shame if you ask me. I do have 2 other chars that are not wookies so i could easily just forget about it but hell i have some sense of community welfare and for some that have only one char on a server and have worked their buts off only to find they are at a huge disadvantage in the end is not fair.

I agree. Marauder armor is a step in the right direction for wookies, now let it be a schematic that we can make for them. I'm tired of making composite and ubese armor with maybe some padded thrown in there because someone wants to look cool. RIS armor is a joke for most armorsmiths with limited combat skills, and contrary to popular belief, some of us are not the ultra rich people that most people think we are, so paying a million for some RIS components is out of the question. We need something different and wookie armor would be my choice.

while this is a nice step in the right direction it still doesn't put wookies on a lvl playing field. and it also sticks it to the armorsmith as the dont get the ability of crafting the armour. also will wookie be able to do the mission more then once to get the armor? or will we have to depend on other player that haven't dont the mission to get replacement peices?

nagyt the wookie that need a bothan bodyguard

I just did the marauder missions (endor POI) last night and got a Chest, Legs and 2 arms. 4 pieces total. I couldnt do the mission again. Dont understand why they even gave us marauder armor as an option since you can only get it doing this quest and only once. And i agree, why not give the armorsmiths something extra to craft, they make no income off us doing marauder missions. Kind of a dead end if you ask me. I"m also sick of just seeing everyone in composite armor. Lets add some variety around here. I'm not an armorsmith but it seems kind of boring if your just making one type of armor most of the time. Weaponsmiths have so much more demand for different types of weapons. Hell i'll vote for the armrosmiths too.

Real wookies don't wear underwear, they wear crappy marauder armor Thanks, but no thanks. Maybe someone that actually plays this game should be thinking of these ideas and not a bunch of dips that don't have a clue what people want. It was Fun so we had to nerf it!
