you'd be much better off doing mabari jackets...

If you have the resources, I think Padded jackets give the most. I don't make padded anymore though so I can't remember for sure.

As an aside... one of the benefits of Mabari shirts is that you do not need a personal crafting station to make them, so you can make them anywhere. Kind of handy at things like starports. I think the mabari shirts give you 421 xp each. Either that or 434...

dang I can't remember anything today.

Are resources or components not the problem? When I was a budding armorsmith I took the path suggested in Jaato's guide. To grind AUK's (which sell okay too =P) up to Personal Armor 3 and then make Ubese Shirts. Both Armor Upgrade Kits and Ubese Shirts require only resources and no components, so they can be made quick.

After I was 3/0/0/4 all the rest fell into place with making Ubese for people and grinding in the off hours

I've been grinding using deflector plates, to be honest. With a ton of copper and ore, you can get 87xp with practice mode per item (using 35 units of materials, compared to the AUK's 30). The only downside is you need a personal station to grind, but I don't want to do it where I'll be bothered anyway

I've got a nice pile of low numbers grinding copper and ore I've been fighting my way through to get to 0-0-1-4 (at 0-0-1-3 now), then I can start REALLY crafting with the other trees and have a chance to have a useful end result that people will buy

All this while also trying to master Pikeman. Geesh

I am currently lv. 15 Marksman...

I have grouped in VoD twice: average exp was 900-1000 weapon, 90-100 combat.

And in Lok:______________average exp was 1000-1500_______100-150 combat.

At this rate I know for a fact that once I unlock Pistoleer (i can't find a trainer >.> It will take FOREVER to level up >.<

-- Getting the 35k combat exp for master marksman is hard... >.< and thats like half of what I will need for Pistoleer

How much is the average XP i shoudl be getting? Where should I group and with what lv. range?

Also... where can i find a Pistoleer trainer?

Pistoleer trainers are tough in some cities. To be honest..I go to Player cities for Elite Profession trainers. They always seem to line em up in front of shuttleports or hotels. I always find Pistoleer trainers in player cities.

As far as XP goes its a slow grind. Solo you can expect from guys equal to one CL below you to net about 900-1100 Pistol XP with 90-110 Combat XP respectivly. You CAN get more if you get the balls to take on a yellow con but good luck.
