Thread: Disassembling RIS...
Can anyone point me to that thread or let me know what the process is?
Thanks
1. Do you get all the components back or a RIS segment?
2. Do you get anything back from boots and gloves?
Sort of on topic.... ok, not really, but I did not want to start a new thread if I can help it.
How is R.I.S. made now? (post CU) Is it just a schematic at a particular level or is it a quest item still? I understand the old parts are taken out of the old armor.

In the spirit of not creating unnesessary new threads I'll ask this question here:
Does anyone know if RIS be constructed as any class of armor, or is it just battle armor?
Pre-CU I had a lightweight RIS helmet that I liked to wear for appearance more than anything else, but now I find that I'm not certified to wear it and unlike other armors where you get the "refit" option, RIS only gives me the "disassemble" option.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
When you choose the 'refit' option on other armor pieces, you can turn it into a different type of armor, but it loses the appearance and turns into the appearance of the other type you choose. For RIS, there's only 'disassemble' as it can't be made into anything but its own class, just like all the other types now. Appearance depends on the armor class/type, I'm afraid.
My solution to the exact same problem you have (pic in sig), as it seems that the game designers don't really care for the RP point of view, was to get a skill tree in Carbineer.
Sorry.
When I examined my suit of RIS I didn't see an option to disassemble it on the radial menu. Do I have to do something special to break it apart?
Slim Vargo, Corbantis
What happens if I click this button...?
Does it give me all the parts Back?..What Do I get?
Do I get a GDK a Woolamader bone..and a Gurk Hide?

Try left clicking and holding it for a few seconds over your piece of RIS. When I first saw the option it took a full three seconds for the option to appear.
