Thread: Seriously utterly f. fed up with crafter deaths
i have little problems, get some camo kits and a PSGand just be careful
i have all my harv/factory setups macro'd (name/add power/add maint/permissions etc..)
if theres mobs hanging around your factories or harvesters just use the camo kit and try not to get to close, you can use fact/harv from quite a distance now.
but, i agree, it would be a pain if i kept getting killed
my city is on LOK where CL 30 is to low coz ur fighting lv50+ in droids
Aye it sucks, but I find that as long as I keep moving, and give any red dots a wide berth, it's not too bad. That said this strategy does not work on dath. Dath has got to be the crafters biggest nightmare, lvl 80 beasties everywhere, and you can bet you find a nice spawn by the time you stop there's a nice Rancor spawn on your head.
Yeah I love dath, mind you the incap/slay route is by far the quickest way back to the SP ![]()
You got to think that the Dev's really dont like us seeing as how we got lumbered with Dath Fibreplast ![]()
CL 1 pure crafter here...First, always make sure you clone on every planet you visit. After that, it's just planning.
Alot of aggros are sprinkled around randomly, but I'v noticed, especially near my static harvies, that spawns tend to gravitate towards certain locations, and those locations of course tend to be in the direct line of the shuttle port and my harvies. So, I try to steer clear of thesepersistent spawns, and it usually works pretty well for me.
Next, once I'm at the location,I make my plan ofattack. If there are red dots near one of my harvies, I look around to see if there is another, non-aggro mob that I can drag the aggro mob towards. If I can start a fight between those 2, I'm clear to slip in and do what I gotta do.
Also, remember that you don't need to be right next to a harvester. I find that, depending on terrain conditions, I can be as far as 20-25m away and still access the radial menu for a harvy.
By employing these tactics, and using caution, I rarely die. When I do happen to die, I just go outside, smoke a cigarrette, and reflect on how much I am enjoying the "immersion".![]()
my city on lok doesnt yet have a shuttle... we need 7 more ppl.
i sell stuff on naboo in a galaxy armour emporium where myself and several other AS split lines.
