Thread: PUB 20 coming...BH looking to change to AS...
Armorsmithing is a great profession, however it requires dedication and devotion. It's not easy. You'll need to spend long hours and lots of credits aquiring or mining the resources you need. Also you will need to build a good customer base and a good location. The rewards are a sense of accomplishment and a nice bankroll. Personally, I love it, and if you put the hard work into it that it needs, you will to.
A combat profession would most likely be a waste of skill points. Just try not to run into anything red. My template at the moment is master armorsmith, master merchant, 0-0-3-0 tailor to make synth cloth, reinforced fiberpanels, and armor padding, and novice carbineer just so I can wear my RIS armor and look cool. ![]()
Some other armorsmiths decide to pick up smuggler so they can purchase faction armor schematics cheaper. Its more of a personal preference thing.

My uber armorsmith template:
Master Armorsmith (obviously)
Master Merchant (no real reason to master, but whatever)
Master Artisan (PSG components + vehicle supply for friends)
0300 Tailor (Fiber Panels, Synthetic Cloth, Armor Padding)
0040 Marksman (diseased vrelts like to sit by my factories, and my +20 AS experimentation belt also has +25 carbine speed, so ...)
Anyway, I'm reserving this spot until I can get some sleep and write you something marginally helpful and intelligent.

Natalya said two full posts...I think I'm gonna keel over from shock.
I thank yall for your help! I look forward to reading more on the armorsmith prof and am looking at it as a serious alternative to my current prof.

OUCH! Any suggestions on how to get that kind of credits?
Ebay? lol...
Seriously.. I had tons of out-of-game loot drops. I sold it all to pick up armorsmith, and with the AS community here, I am glad I did.
