Thread: 111 GDK, no scales... how are you doing?

I just hit 111 Giant Dune Kimo kills since I last looted a scale.
Last time was so long ago that GDK had little ham, I could solo them with a rifleman, they dropped 1 scale, and it wasn't serialized. That's a looong time ago!
I now have 2 scales (a nice guy sold me one for1 million creds) and am 6 away from that set of RIS.
So how have you all been faring? Have you been having better loot averages?

1 GDK: 9 of the wrong scales (armor scales, whatever)
2,3,4,5 nothing
6: 10 GDK scales, w00t :+

Lucky! The most I've managed to find in a single day was 4 spawns (about 15 kills)... and from this post, you obviously know how that turned out! lol

Well, I just 'camped' the POI 
Got up early 3 days ago and just killed it 2 times, got new buffs, killed it 2 times, got new buffs, killed it 2 times and bingo In the time between twe spawns I did some reading for uni so it wasnt too hard, hehe

Not sure how many GDK Ive killed, prolly 70-100 ove the course of abouty 18 months...not a single scale drop I refuse to buy em....I wanna complete the quest myself.

Yeah i've been working on this for 15 months myself. I cant afford to buy them or I would.

Does anyone know where about these fu*kers spawn apart from Kimo Town??, or what areas they like? i've found spawns of Dune Kimo's, and another type i can't remember the name of, but no GDK!

i have been hunting kimos for awhile now and seemd to have noticed a few things of where they spawn. one place is of course kimo town which is on a spawn timer. But for static spawns i have noticed em to spawn more frequentley near the volcano mountain. and whithin a 2k meter radius of it. Also, and maybe im crazy but,I have noticed alot of spawns by the rivers of Lok. ya i know there are alot of long rivers flowing through the entire planet. But usally if I follow the rivers. I bump into em. I have of course found GDK's in other parts of the planet without rivers near em. But most of the ones i found were about 40 or so meters from a river.

Over my game play I have looted a set of 6, set of 9 and just tonight a set of 7. 2 scales short of another full suit of armor thanks to raymond
