Anyone found the hide off the recluse gurk king ?

Yes. Go and kill gurk lairs, and the last spawn is always a gurk king. I have the hide from there.

Thanks bud, appreciate the advice. Now killed 35 recluse gurk kings and still no hide. Wondering if drop has been nerfed or removed temporarily to stop folks doing this. Anyone picked up the hide this week ?

I didthree days ago, on the only gurk king I killed.

You do have to loot it, not harvest it, of course.

Thanks for the replies folks. Im now up to killing close to 50 recluse gurk kings. Yes Im looting not harvesting. Still no luck.

Has anyone looted one of these since the Holocroon patch a few days back ? Im seriously coming to think this thing is either not dropping due to a bug or they have stopped it droping on purpose.

On Lok bud. Plenty of Gurk lairs around all over the place, but not near the space port.

Well I finally got this thing. I am not exagerrating if I say I have killed roughly 60 recluse gurk kings to get this. This has been THE biggest pain in the backside quest item I have ever done and I did everything in EQ from being first with epic items through to the Plane of Time. I guess from some of the other posts I have just been hugely unlucky

It's all random. It took me 20 kills to get the Gurk hide, but the kimo scale took me about 45.

I've gotten missions for medium gurks, gurks and gurk packs, they never spawn me a king...am i doings something wrong?

I was doing the same thing, but I finally found some. you have to go south. so to the imp base and clone. the lairs around there will spawn you kings. they aren't that bad either, but bring a friend or 2 and some pets because there are alot of them.

forgot to mention, I've never seen a king spawn from a mission lair, just have to find a wild one. hope this helped.
