Just wondering if anyone else has been making 80 Kin 80 Energy 80 Elec special protection comp? If so how have your sales been?

made 1 kinetic and 2 energy...make the kinetic full special with extra points into base. then do both energy as base and extra into energy.

I've made it. 80% Energy/80% Kinetic/78% Electric/70% Base. I'd much rather give the customer higher base than a couple more points of Electric protection. They get a much better chance at 90% resists with a good effectiveness slice.

So if you flip the layers around what do you get? like 2 kinetic maxed on base and 1 energy maxed on energy

But they get 90% resists in everything except the most important ones - kinetic and energy...

Seems a little counterproductive to me.

Yeah I'd think the point of this armor would be to get an enc slice while having high kin/energy, otherwise juse make high base armor, and use a less useful layer like Blast to get the base up so energu and kin can slice to 90.

*raises hand*

On Wanderhome, I've been making kinetic 80%/energy 80%/electric 80% base 68% which sells very well. I use 2 kinetic layers (8% kin each) and 1 energy layer (13% energy).

I had someone get full encumb slices on it, and he says its great for PvE. If you want 90% sliced base use electric layers. Anything else isn't worth it.

Do you have copper and siliclastic orethat has OQ+SR high enough to make Electric Layers that will yield 70% base armor? We certainly don't on Intrepid. Currently I can hit 70% base with Heat or Energy (probably Kinetic as well). When I see a copper and siliclastic ore with high enough OQ+SR to hit 70% base I'll be the first on the block to produce it.

Secondly, the above suits guarantees at least 80% protection in Kinetic and Energy no matter what type of slice the player receives. If they hit the magical 90% on erverything else they could care less whether or not they need a full buff set to wear the armor. If they get encumbrance slices they still have fine protections. These suits sell very, very well and I get no complaints over them, particularly at 350k a suit.

I can hit 68-69% and that's enough to hit the 90% mark....even if you don't hit the 90 mark getting 85% is better than the cap at 80% that using a kinetic layer will give you.

Excuse me but aren't you the one that started this thread saying you make the stuff and sell it? Now you want to ridicule me because I make it? This is beyond silly.
