Thread: Ubese Bandoleer

I'm probably speaking out of turn here, being not an armorsmith, but an issue has been on my mind as of late:


I understand that Armorsmith probably has scads of issues and bugs that need to be worked out, but when some of the major ones can be ironed out and there is time to work on some asthetics of armorsmith, what's the possiblility that anyone (here in the AS forum) would get behind adding storage space to the Ubese Bandoleer?


It already looks a little like a backpack, and when I used to wear it back in august or september, everyone always asked me what kind of backpack it was. It definitely looks as if it could carry more than the other backpacks in this game as it actually has dimensions instead of being a flat panel.


As it is, no one I know wears one, and no armorsmiths make them except on special request because most people don't want them (as it takes up a backpack slot) If container space were added to them, I can see an upsurge in requests for the item and with that a large money making opportunity for armorsmiths.


Obviously, just my asking about this isn't going to get anything accomplished, but I'm hoping that my simple question will pique the interest of enough of the armorsmiths here that it may be brought to the developers' attention.

How I can fit 26 harvesters, two large conference room tables and a fambaa in my backpack already is beyond me. That being said there's no telling what that can hold.

Thanks for the good word guys (and gals?) Hopefully this will come to the attention of the Armorsmith Correspondent and he can make the devs aware that a few people have mentioned an interest in getting storage space added to the Ubese bandoleer.

Take is a bit further. Allow armor belts to hold items too. Both look like they have compartments on them.


Ubese bandolier - 20 items

Padded Armor Belt - 10 items

Mabari Armor Belt -10 items

True that. But only 20 items for the Ubese? The compartment on the back is much bigger than a normal backpack plus it's got lil' pockets on it.

the number of items for the Ubese i got from another reply. I wasn't thinking about it at the time, but was concentrating on how much belts should hold.


I think the Bandolier shouldn't hold more than a backpack. Even though you can hold a large house, many weapons, several suits of armor, and large number of resoureces in a backpack. It makes more sense to be able to hold all that in a backpack than in a Bandolier. The Bandolier is small in size and visually doesn't show much space for storage. Thus, implementing a smaller amount storage.


Maybe 30 items max, but no more would be good.

lol nah. People would still buy their backpacks. There are lots of folks still wanting special orders (and we know that everyone just stuffs the orders into backpacks before putting them on vendors).

I'd say 25 , half that of a back-pak. But, don't forget, these are excellent for making a schem with (4) sockets for Armor SEA's too.


So, they kind of already have a purpose.
