LAME. Thats a big middle finger to the AS profession.
Tailors can't usewear of their clothes, but you don't see them complaining about it.

No way man, I think this is awesome. EXACTLY what they should have done. I was pushing for BH, Commando, and SL myself. The addition of Ranger seems good to me also. I'm REALLY glad they did this... perfect.

*shrug* I dont care anymore, I'm just going to hoard all the loot drops for Mandalorian that I get and make myself a nice suit to sit and collect dust in my house. Funny how I can wear the Bounty Hunter armour though.
BTW, can we have a link to the thread where TH actually confirms this, not calling you a liar but I cant seem to find it via the Dev Tracker.
P.S. Anyone know when the Armoursmith only restriction on RIS is coming in?

Not only that... but I would like to see ALL armor be certed... It would help with the combat balancing... ie take a professions that is broken and not very viable and give them the comp cert... then take someone like a combat medic, and give them Mabari cert...
Perhaps they could even spread it a little thinner... ie. at a level 1 skill you get gloves and boots then spread across the level two skills the arm pieces, at level 3 you can dish out the leg and armor certs and then at level 4 or master you get your chest plate...
Sure there isn't a whole lot of logic behind this, but for functionality it would help balance things out, because if you simply gave composite cert at a level 4 skill, you would see a lot of templates which simply remain essentially the same but went out to pick up the comp cert...
Anywho, i am glad to see that they aren't making this armor for everyone... I guess that means I will have to just put the set on my wall, but it's all good...

There is no logicaly reason why this should be limted in anyway. The normal gadet argument doesnt work, at least no for AS. And you cant compare WS and AS in this, anyone can equip any weapon, they just cant use it. And the tailor argument does work because all the limtaions there are by race or gender. Gameplaywise however I can see why they doo this.
