Thread: Blueprint Question
I finally make it to Expert Blueprints. I get the Probot Blueprint and it asks for an "advanced droid motive system". I do not see that listed. I thought Expert Blueprints let you build a Probot. I am by a droid crafting station. I do not have master artisan yet, could that be it?
Also it is asking for a defensive unit. Is that armor?
You need to make a droid, any droid, that can support a crafting module.
You need to then build the portable modules that go in it. (Tree on far left)
You need to put the 2 together.
You will then have a droid with a crafting station in it that will let you do what you want to do. Or you can buy a house and a crafting station to put in it.
GUYS GUYS...Yes a droid with a 'weapon droid cgeneral' craft module does work..as long as you don't have any of the other 'craft ' modules installed in the same droid. I use my r2 and Adv probot just fine with the weapons module in it.
As for an advance motor....first you need to build a control unit under the artisan skill tree. Then with a control unit and your weapon droid general craft toll..stand next to a public/privat craft station (i usally traget it) and the option should be the third from the top. select it and go.
Now I have had sessions where I was standing in front of the station and some of my schematics 'seemed' missing. i just logged and relogged in and tried again and they appeared. Some sort of bug.
Hope that helps.
a reminder one droid can not hold two different craft modules like food/chem and weapons...only one will work. the other modules like medical repair and data storage all work fine with a craft module in it.
A control unit and some of the other parts required to make an advanced motive system requires Master Artisan...so either you have to be one, or you have to get one to make those parts for you so you can make advanced motive systems.

Please for give my stupidity, but you say build a control unit. There is not one listed. Can you be more explicit please. I am obviously missing something.
I believe what you're missing is the prepositional phrase at the end of the sentence, "first you need to build a control unit under the artisan skill tree."
Certain droid component components can only be created by a master artisan.
