Hope

We have hope.....
that the future space expansion will give us the ability to make spaceships
the sometime very soon we can make garages
that we'll be able to color furniture, houses, wall, etc......

most important
hope that the devs actually care about our prof

The best looking **edit** out of all the crafters. Don't get me wrong I loves me gun, however I spend more time decorating then hunting it seems.Nothing is as customizable as a house. Now if more people would just bother with that things would be great. I'd be out of work but still.

True, but I cannot sell a couche for 2 million credits or a dining set for God knows what, I mean we dont even have something special to attach like a garage. The point of this post is to get the Devs attention and to give us something aside from a broken profession, if turrets were similar to PA Hall schematics we would all be bloody rich, imagine if we could make faction bases that were like 2 city hall schematics how in demand we would be and the turrets and bases have their own decay. Its bull**edit** that we cannot make those things, if you got the collectors edition go into the big black concept book from pencil to pixel and go to the back were it talks about the strongest structures a PLAYER can build.

The lack of high ticket items are not our problem. We've got like dozens of items that sell for 100K or more. Many of those can be made by any master architect without using any rare resources. RIS armor or kryat guns are special items that require rare drops. You seem to be underestimating the skill and effort required to make those items. If they were easy to make then they wouldn't fetch such high prices cause every armorsmith or weaponsmith would be making them.

I agree it would be nice to have faction structures that we can build. But you can't say that the dev's have been totally ignoring us. We did get a whole batch of new schematics with the player city introduction and the experimentation on harvesters has breathed new life into our profession. Plus getting rid of crit fails was definitely a good thing and something that ONLY architects have.

I have fun playing the game being an Architect.

That should account for something.

I enjoy helping newbie archs up the way to master by providing ore and metal to grind walls.

Yes, there are not many shematics and yes there is no deacy on the harvs.

But every Architect can turn in a decent profit by building whatever of the shematics.

If you're after money, nothing is easier that Architect IMO.

We've got over 150 schematics. By comparison Weaponsmiths have less than 100, Armorsmiths have about 75, DE's have 80 or so. We're not lacking for schematics.

Good point, i guess what I meant is, there are not many shematics that assure constant sales.

We have plenty of schematics that provide constant sales. Keep a vendor stocked with furniture or medium harvestors and you'll see that. It won't happen the first day you stock you vendor, but if you keep it stocked with fair prices, your sales will grow by word of mouth. I run 6+ BER 10 It also helps if you are a merchant and can advertise.

True, a lot of our buildings and city structures dont' have a lot of demand now. But I don't think the other professions have "constant sales" from all of their items either. There are plenty of weapons that don't have a lot of demand and armorsmiths end up dealing in the high end stuff mostly cause people don't want the beginner items like Mabari. And how many MSE, binary load lifter or DZ70 droids do you think are sold?

Our harvesters ought to be selling pretty well though and that alone is enough to make a good business out of. I'm still seeing a little demand for factories and an occasional building. Or someone ought to be able to do pretty well by selling furniture in volume with a well stocked vendor. High quality crafting stations also sell pretty well and you can get a good profit on those. Of course the economy on every server is different, so I can only speak to what I see.

We have no risk of crit failures on large items.

That was nice and showed for once that the DEV's know that architects exist.

Don't get me wrong I am doing excellent and I only build Harvesters, I sell around 20 mediums and 5 heavies a day.

I just wanted to say that I love being an architect, and I don't care if a WS or AS can make 20-30cpu on their product.
