Ok, this is pretty bad. I make furniture and items with no names on them for people, and for my own use. Untill the last patch the blank names stuck, now their back. Structure modules that were used in a fireplace, for instance, now say 'structure module', etc... I'm almost as unhappy about this as the loot schematic BS in the patch. The names were removed for a reason.

Confirmed. The structure modules I made for a friends fireplace and the blocks for my shop counters now show a name. This really stinks.

I made a chest myself tonight with no name as a test and it came out with no name. I used a single space for the name.
Could be something is resetting the names on existing items somehow.

Maybe this is just a bug that struck some items for some reason but didn't affect things in general?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over the past three days I've been working on a million credit furniture order. All custom, all nameless, all factory runs. I just found that ALL of the crates made before yesterday's patch are now named FURNITURE CRATE (and all the items inside have their regular name). All crates made since yesterday's patch are the same as they always were. Let's see what CSR has to say about this before I press the "cancel account" button.

Maybe this only effected items made in factory runs.
Did the other people that saw this make the furniture by hand or use a factory?

I've made a few items by hand without names since then. Initially they are ok, but eventually the name arrives.

junk.
and losing a big chunk of a million credit order - totally unacceptable.
there's a reason things don't get names.
I'm going to be looking into this regarding my droid chassis that I use in my shop, and see if the blank ones got renamed.

Okay, I've had it. I'm now going to go forward and cancel my account for Kazdin. A total of 15 crates of furniture have been ruined thanks to the screwup by the Dev's. This is the response I received from CSR:
"Thank you for submitting your ticket regarding this matter. I sincerely apologize for the problem you are currently facing and the inconvience caused due to it is deeply regretting. I am sorry to tell you that we do not have the ability to renamed factory crates or items."
Now, making matter WORSE, ALL (every piece) of furniture I made in the past with no names (both factory runs and indivual items) are now named!!!! I sent in another ticket saying I won't tolerate this, but expect CSR to do what they always do -- NOTHING.

Please, you must remember that "unnamed" items are second ONLY to factory produced loot schematic items in factors contributing to the current imbalance that exists in combat. Steps had to be taken immediately to prevent spontaneous outbreaks of semi-tolerance of the game.
Once the Combat Upgrade is complete, it will become very obvious that the game would have quickly spiraled into oblivion if the abomination that was unnamed furniture had been allowed to exist.

Ah. Hmm. I'll go back and check the chest I made the other day, I think I still have it. It may have reverted to the default name by now too.
Lets all make sure to /bug it when we see it.
