Yes I am not downright poor. I have anywhere between 150k and 250k on me at any given time. But I have been stuck at that for eons now. I just found out that my supplier who sells resources only to ME has about 500k now. I am also a master architect. However, I cant compete with things like "sorry someone offered factory for 30k" or "sorry, i got offered 2 large harvesters, 1 deep crust, 1 fusion, 1 factory for 200k." I love architect but I am seriously considering to just stop making stuff and start selling resources till things get better. I mean I am already master... Before atleast getting xp justified not getting money. Now that I am master, there is no justification! The only reason I am making money is cuz of medium harvesters.. Altho i have seen some @#%@ archs selling em for as low as 8k.. average price HAS stayed around 15k.. not great but atleast its not like any of the houses. Can someone here cheer me up and tell me it will all get better?

And what the hell is up with not able to download harvesting mechanism schematic?? I just cant get it.

I'm sorry, and I don't mean to flame, but did you say you can't compete with people selling a factory for 30K? My asking price is 25K for equipment factories right now. Between that, small houses at 12K, selling off a few hundred resources at 7-8 credits per resource (I sell whatever isn't present on the bazaar, so I don't have competition), and a couple kill missions a night I make enough. I'm not rich, but I can afford to train and supply the weaponsmith I'm partnering with harvesters/power/factory.

I heard people were selling small houses for 2500 and factories for 13K. I can't compete with that, but you should be able to get by at 30K per factory.

1. You sell your buildings for less than you sell the resources to make them? That makes sense (Sarcasim)

2. The people selling a house for 2500 and even 3000 and factories at 13Khopefuly wont be around much longer because they are taking a lose on every sell and probably only trying to get to PA Hall for thier guild.

3. Why just barely sqweak by selling you buildings cheap and still need to a couple of missions to make it each day? Why not sell for the 7-8 credits a resource your selling the raw resources for and have a small profit left over each day without needing to run missions everyday?

Armorsmiths are getting 30-60 credits a resource on the upper end armors and architects are forces to meak out a barely livable income without doing missions each day just to cover training and maintance.

if your resource supplier is making more then you, you have to see that there is money in resources.

the problem is your too hight in the food chain, the people who are undercutting you are getting there resources cheaper because they are mining for themselves.

i am not master yet, and on me, i have 3 large house deeds, 2 medium and 5 smalls. 350k in the bank. have harvesters everywhere. i operate small harvesters and have friends placed them, but i operate them.

its cheaper, and alost more cost effective.

3.a Or why bother selling buildings at all just sell all your raw resources if your getting 7-8 credits a resource for em.

Ziroc-

1. Unfortuantely selling structures for less than raw resources does make sense. The demand for structures is less than the demand for raw resources right now, because budding weaponsmiths/architects/DEs are grinding through XP. Also, it's easier (read:less time consuming) to place 400 unit resource containers on the bazaar for 2500 and have 10 people buy them while you're doing something else than to run around advertising your wares.

2. I hope this is true as well.

3. Why wait around for the best possible sell price when I have other things I want to do? I also want to master a weapon someday, so I do kill missions every night even if I don't need the money.

I make enough to pay for training, maintenance, crafting, and random clothes and trinkets. I'm not saving up for a speeder bike quite yet.

If the stuff is up on the bazaar too long, I get undercutted, especially at 7-8 credits. I make sure I have a variety: bone armor, harvesters, resources take up all my bazaar slots. This will hopefully be better when I set up shop (soon).

What exactly are you planning on doing with all that money? You're a master architect, so the most expensive item in the game (PA Hall) you can make yourself. I can't believe that you are complaining about having more money than most other players after a month of play. You've got 6 months before you need to afford a space ship, so relax, geeze.

Also, why aren't you selling PA halls? I know they are huge to make, but you should be able to get 300-500k easy for one. How about getting your resource supplier to buy one?

I haven't reached master arch yet and I've got 160k on me. But sales have slowed a bit.Nowadays I sell maybe2 factories a week, and haven't sold any medium or large houses yet (just got bldg 3 2 days ago). My DE friend secretly hates me because he can't sell his crappy droids and has about 20k on him so far. My scout/ranged friend probably has about 20k from selling hides to me (about his only source of income aside from missions).

Stop complaining about being rich, but not super-rich. You won't get any sympathy here.

I hate to say this, but this thread is comical to say the least. I only have 250k, blah, blah blah. At least being an architect you can sell just about everything you use to level up with. Try being a Droid Engineer like I am. Crank out a few hundred MOUSE droids to get to the next level. Crank out a few hundred R5's until you get to the next level. Droids don't decay, or really even die. No money to maintain, unlike harvesters, etc... When everyone gets one, well then they have one. They nerfed our Probots, so those aren't even selling for that much anymore. So what you end up with is a flood of bots you've built, (I'm talking hundreds I have on me), and sell about 3-10 a day for about 2-5 credits per resource. I'm about 2k away from being architect, and plan on going that route until this droid situation improves. Remember people, it's always worse somewhere else. Even in SWG.

Does the pet health fix affect droids too? Or are you still able to pack them away and have them come back out fully repaired?

FYI, architect still has to crank out hundreds of items to advance, but at least our lowest grindage (Structure blocks) are easy to make and go into other things like walls. Each block gives 500 XP, but you need 55k xp for first box. That's 110 for level 1, and increse that by 45 per level. At 250 resources each, architects have their own problems. But I commisserate with the DE money thing. Even armorcrafters I think are making more money than the DE right now.

How can you say in the same paragraph that you sell 13430 resources, aka factories, for 25K then in the very next sentence say you sell just the resources for 7-8 creds each? You're losing 75K by making the factory. You should stick to selling your resources.

This is the problem with every player-centered economy in an MMO. The difference between the factory and the raw resources is that a lot fewer people want the factory, so it's oddly enough a buyer's market. When supply outweighs demand by a lot, prices plummet.

So why is supply so much higher than demand? Because people will build things like factories for the XP. As long as they can make enough money to feed the harvesters and grind out things like factories (which give pretty good xp) then they will continue to practically give them away.

In any case, I'm glad this guy isn't on Gorath, because he'd go hungry trying to sell resources for over 4cr per unit. In large quntities I can get just about anything for 3cr per.

I operate 14 harvesters and buy resources at 3.25 cr per. 150k-250k might sound a lot but it really isnt. I pay about 15k a day to maintenace. I also try to help out noobs by giving them 10k or so and setting them up with things. I LIKE to have money so I can do MORE of those type of things. I dont find joy from killing things. Joy for me in a game is to sell things at a decent profit. That is what makes the game fun for me. Some people get fun from killing krayt.. I like it from making a good sale. Right now I am not able to make a good sale and its boring me. I have operated 14 harvesters (using 4 of my friends lot for FREE) for MANY weeks now and I only have 150k. That is not a lot when u think about it. I should be getting more when I work on something.. I am adding VALUE to it but apparently its not working like that. I dont understand why some of you dont get that.. oh well.
