Thread: SAMPLE MAPPING! FULL!
A very good idea. It'd be nice to have an overlay of where u have sampled and perhaps a geological type readout somehow with a number indicating how long it has been on the server for and/or how long it will be there for.
It'd be nice to know if u are dropping onto an ore that is about dissapear and cost u 4500 in redeed.

Great Idea
OK sorry about the infinished things i posted
I am an archetect with a lot of harvesters scattered around tatooine. now every few days some of the rescoureces move and i have to move my harvesters. i find it difficult to have to survey the same area again, and again while im looking for rescources.. so what if every time u survey it fills in a grid on your planet map with the perccentages of the area you surveyed.. that way u can just keep looking at your map untill recsources change... i would find that usefull ![]()
Now this idea I like!

What we need is to manufacture a probe that gives us all the information for a particular location.
Like dropping small harvester just so you can see what is there.
Stick the probe in the ground/activate and you have all the data for everything available in that spot.
I love the probe idea... Make it need survey 4, and when you use it, it gives a report like a small harvester would...
I think it should be a small structure that takes so much power and money.
It takes so long for it to charge up or get results.
you would put the kind of surveying device you want have done in the machine.
Or specific different versions.
OMG! BEST IDEA EVER! ... ok, i'm done with all caps... i think this would be a phenomenal feature and would increase the amount of crafters that come to the game. i think i'm going to talk to the artisan corresponant about this..... send her a link, or something....
