that moonraker dude was saying to think character creation.. and i dont know whether or not to take him seriously, but the other day i made a new character when lowca was down.. so i was in the "Spacestation"(the place you are after you create your character and it asks you to chose a planet) and i made a new waypoint while i was in there, looked at the planetary map.. and im not sure what planet it is, but maybe someone should check it out, or post what planet it is, and goto where you made the waypoint, im gonna try to do it next time i go on, ill post updates with whats there(probably nothing)... its just and idea.. its better than a post saying "OMG FS IS SO EASY OMG I NO TELL U CAUSE I L33T0" so whatever

Did you search the area for a FS fish? I heard somewhere that was the the key.

I donno if they would base you unlocking your force slot out of the tutorial since some people just skip it.

Ok, we all know that commandos aren't being taken seriously right now. I have a solution. Swamp the Devs with messages until they get the point. The key to this plan is everyone needs to do it. You might think this counterproductive but I think it's brilliant. Ghandi would be proud. Here are the steps:

1) Go to this link http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/submit_feedback.jsp?page=Submit%20Feedback

2) Under category, put in Profession Suggestions. Underneath that, put in Commando

3)In the Subject Title, please insert "Commandos are bugged, please fix it". If we all imput the same message, then the Devs will get the idea that this is an organized movement.

4) Under the message, type in the points that you think are relevant. Launcher pistols, Beam Rifles, Grenades, Reworked skill trees, Unarmed qualifications, and Charges are all great topics. Just read these boards you will find alot.

5) If everyone does it, then it will get the point across.

Thank you for your time and cooperation.

This is an idea thought of while at lunch. Well taking 'care' pets now is saying JoJo Trick, and /forage for some fruit. What if they could put in a grooming command.

At Novice CH everyone would get a basic grooming kit. Grooming your pet would take some time like 6-8 /groom attempts. Once it is done your pet would say pretty, hansome, or something like that, Grooming your pet which is optional would give you (random numbers) 10% Pet Regen for like and hour. There could even be different levels such as at Training III you would get /groom2 this could give you 15% Pet Regen and 10% Increase to pets HAMS. At Master CH you would get /groom3 this could give you 25% Pet Regen 15% Increase to HAMs,and 10% increase to Pets Damage.

Also grooming could be used for mounts, grooming a mount could increase its speed by 10%,15%,25% at the respective groom level.

These would only be temp, buffs while your pet was 'pretty' and would have to re groom afterwards.

This would be skill only CH'ers could have and I think it would put more focus on taking time to care for pets than simple commands we have now.

I know it won't be put in, but what do you guys think?

Works for me! Anything to take focus away from the 'tame an uber creature to own everything in sight' mentality and turn it in to a roleplaying game sounds good. I'd love to see Harry the 'handsome' Rancor walking around town with a toupee.

Sounds like a good idea and one that should be persued. It does however make me chuckle when I think of grooming some of my pets . There's something just wrong about having a "pretty" graping spider hunter .

heres an idea about how to get tips from people. all it will need is some scrypt'ing from the dev's, and it will work .

Players buy insurance on their armor, and what not, so why not buy health insurance? they pay a rate at the insurance terminals, and when they die, or just need some massive wounds healed, they just go to a doctor, or a medic, and get healed up. once done an option will open for the doctor to claim insurance.

wah la, we get our payment, and the player goes on his/her merry little way.

inorder for it to work so that any doctor doesnt just claim insurance anytime a player walks by, you'd have to heal the most amount of wounds for the player.

what do you guys think, a few of my pa members thinks its a good idea, altough it would be a bit tough for the dev's to put in.

Too exploitable. I could travel to Lok with my friend, and have him suicide repeatedly without cloning. Then, all i have to do is heal him for the 3000 wounds he would have after dying a few times (and the process would accelerate after he gets about 1k battle fatigue) and we'd rake in the cash. The only way to prevent this would be to make the insurance cost be proportional to the wounds healed...perhaps the patients would receive a debt card with their policy that they give to doctors to allow them to directly withdraw funds form their account.

If you dont like the idea of healing for free, dont do it. Eventually the demand will come to a point where people will be begging you to heal them and paying money to boot. Some people will always give free heals, you say. Sure they will, its a risk free way to gain XP. However, you dont see many master doctors sitting around in the med center, do you? Thats cause they're out enjoying the fruits of their earlier labors rather than giving out those 600 point wound heals. If all high level docs stop healing for free, people will pay...i remember when this train started moving, people would have killed to see 150 wounds healed at once, let alone 400 or even 600. Waiting ona novice medic isnt much fun!

Descent idea.. here's a modification.

A: People spend a varying amount of money onhealth insurance from hospital terminals. Kinda like a bank for insurance.. examp they deposit 2000 credits into an insurance fund.

B: People go out and gather wounds.. and go back to any hospital.

C: Doctor/medics can then tell on the diagnose menu if somebody is insured and for how much they're insured(this is so people can't claim to have so much insurance but really dont).

D: Doctor/medics heal said person and for 1 wound healed the healer gets 1 credit.

It allows alldoc/medics who heal others to get credits, not just the top healer of the person. It helps cut down on ninja healing... a little... It lets healers get paid for their work but doesn't prohibit or limit people in any way. Hmm thats a good idea i think.. The only little problem would be that i bet hospitals would be flooded with doctors and the low level medics would have trouble making descent money this way as well as would have trouble getting exp since the docs would be healing everybody in 1 or 2 shots.
