Thread: My number one issue

Hi there, hologrinder here who stayed for the profession.

The issue that I am most interested in seeing resolved is the storage issue.

Not lots vs. items, which is well covered by others, but the appearance of storage items.

Specifically: backpacks as storage.

My number one issue is thus: Can we please get a fifty item storable limit on armoires and chests? And a 20 item storable limit on bookshelves?

I will leave this be here, as this is all that really needs to be said. I ask our correspondent to please respond, and poll the playerbase to see if this is also a large issue.

Thank you for your time,

RbT

I used unlocked containers.

Look decent and functional.

Demonstrably false... though this may have been the case at some time in the past, it's not currently... I have 8 of these... two I found, and had a Smuggler friend open for me... another pair, I bought as locked containers off the Bazaar and had the same Smuggler friend open for me. The other 4 I bought off the bazaar already unlocked and empty specificly for the purpose of using them as containers in my house.

I myself opened None of them, having never been a smuggler.

The container issue is simply that you have to have it in inventory and drag and drop - you can drag and drop away from it in your house, but to load, you must have it in inventory.

I realize it has been asked before. I asked it before as well. I am now using my experience as a Master Architect to highlight that even with everything else I have encountered in the profession, this issue is my number one.

Dvnce, I am glad that you agree that this is an issue. I hope it can get added to our feature requests.

WOW! I am such a noober.

Something "new" and nifty to try out tonite. I smell a redecoration hehehe.

Also False... All 8 of the containers in my house are on the floor of my house and remain on the floor of my house. I do not pick them up to load or unload them.

Ok, I guess what works for backpacks does not work for cotainers.

I was opening inventory and draggin to a container on the floor. No dice. Picked up the container and drag from inv to container within inventory, no problem. Set container back down tried to do same as first time, still no dice. Opened the container while still on floor, reopened my inventory and was able to drag window to window.

Good bye back packs.

Too bad Containers only hold 20 items :/.

Thank you guys, without this discussion I would have never tried it again.

Yeah .. I think this is a big issue for every one not just Architects.. Many people I know of are frustrated when they put all the work into decorating thier house and they have to keep a room with a row of backpacks.. when chests and such would complete the entire look of the house so well..

Ok, now that I've been hijacked, I would like to suggest that this issue is larger than the one that TH claims we have (/rotateup|/rotatedown) request.

I am putting this forth as a major issue. Is this a non-issue for most architects? Are we content with backpacks as our only storage option (and UBER LOOT unlocked containers and drums, of course)?
