I would like more storage options, but I want it to be sensible. If we get the option to store in e.g. armoires, bookshelves, then I want the 'container' to be the ONLY item that counts against my items in the house. So if I have an empty container it registers as 1 item in house, if I choose to put 30 items in it then it should STILL count as 1 item in the house. In RL if I put something inside of something else in my house it does not take up any more space that the container, so why should it here. If we don't get that then I am simply not interested.

Doing that would mean a large house would have optimum 12,500 storage and that just won't happen. I would easily support having a storage containter that actually stores something. It has been an issue for longer then the secondary rotation axis (being a design aspect solely and not functionary) so it should be more important.

This has been broken for about 5 months. Basically back when they TEMPORARILY made houses hold 75/lot-250MAX.

Anyway, you must first pick up the container. DONT OPEN IT. Drag the items inside. Drop the container.
