Sunday night I was at my factory on Tempest/Lok and added in another 7 days of maintenance and power. Validated that everything was working by shutting the object down and restarting it. Then started the factory for the next round of droid brains. Since I didn't have enough room in my inventory I left about 30 - 35 cases of other material in the output bin. Everthing was working splendedly.

Monday evening I come back to pick up my product (I was going to say brains, but you can imagine the jokes on that statement) to find the factory MISSING. This can not be the case, my be a server / object problem, it has happend to a vendor of mine once before happily it reappeared after the next server reset. I thought this is the case.

Tuesday evening, my waypoint was still thereNO factory.

Has this happened to anyone else. If so were you able to get the problem resolved?

Unfortunately it did happen to me with all of my factories right after I had moved them to a new location. I had set them up, put a week's worth of maintenance in all three of them, checked the status to make sure there was enough in it, and went off for the weekend. I go back a few days later and they're all gone. I checked the alt (who was holding the factories) and the day after they had been placed there was an e-mail stating that they were at 18% had been sent to him. I sent in a CSR ticket and they were able to determine the date they were placed, but they found no record of maintenance paid into it. There basically wasn't anything they could do.

If you didn't get any kind of message, I'd recommend a CSR ticket and have them investigate it. It only took a day for them to get back to me. They may not be able to fix your problem, but it might help keep it from happening to someone else.

I persoanlly know about many houses and factories that went poof. Mostly related to sitting on a server border and the CSRs wont do a thing for you. Get used to it.

There's the old someone builds a house on top of yours problem too -- or has then been fixed yet? Basically occurs when the server hasn't finished loading and someone else builds something in the prime location you had already picked.

Well it just happened to me tonight. I logged in and my factory is gone with crates and crates of stuff in them. All gone! plus I had packs in them also.

I was hoping that it would come back by the server resetting but after reading this post, I'm not going to hold my breath. I had tons worth of product and resources in them as I keep those factories going almost 24 hours a day.

This stuff really has to stop.

I believe this might be related to crossing server lines without saving... Like how you can repair a speederbike, run off someplace, then get off, it self stores before you can get to it, and when you pull it out... Its back to the old maintenance condition.

you paid for the bike to get fixed... the money is gone, but.. the server just forgot to save that it happened. Its just to me that this sounds like it might be a similar root cause.

Well I put a ticket in and got a response: They told me that I had not paid maintenance also in it since I dropped it.

C'mon I'm a professional crafter /merchant, All of my slots hold building and factories plus 6 vendors. Why would I maintain every other building and not bother with this one. I told them to check all the building and factories on my account. Why would I let something go away that is housing at least 75 crates of architect parts. We won't even talk about what I had in the ingredient hopper. They need to stop always putting the blame on us and fix there bugs.

I agree sometimes it is our fault but in this case it's there bug but I'm not holding my breath that any reconcilliation will come of this.

But I will say I'm slowly becomming very disenchanted with this game and it takes alot to discourage me.

Remember, if you add 7 days of maint.
And you start your factories, they will subtract money from the maint pool to operate.
So those 7 days, might not last long if it's in use.

I keep my factories at minimum 50k power/creds, just in case I forget to refill it sometime.

*poofs* aint cool.

Same thing has happened to me with 7 factorys on Eclipse. They were placed on a cross server trade but the people who placed them logged on every week. Over the past month....the 7 factories...one by one...have went poof. The latest one was Yesterday....I went away for the weekend, come back...and its gone...I had over 800k of copper and 300k of steel in there...>_<!!!! Sony needs to fix the bugs in this game before adding anything else. I know the maint was paid because I put a months worth of power and maint into the factories atleast every 2 weeks, so they all were good for a long long time...

I had a problem with maint dissapearing as well. I put 500k into my guild hall and 2 days later it was at 2%!?!?!?! I could not figure out what happened! i put in a ticket and got a similar response. "We don't show any record of maint paid" Nice sony, it's good to know that 500k of hard earned credits goes down the tubes so easily with no record

Did the character holding these structures have money to pay Income taxes?

I've started the habit of checking all of my structures every time I use them or enter them. And keeping track of what days I pay maintenance in (which is more for my benefit than theirs since I doubt they'd take my word for it). There is obviously a bug here, but I don't think that it has officially been recognized as one. It does seem that the server "forgets" or forgets to save things from maintenance paid to vehicles fixed.

Is there such a thing as a posted and accessable "Known Bug" list? It would really be helpful to know if it's something they are aware of/acknowledging or if it's just getting shoved under the rug and chalked up to player forgetfulness.
