Was yesterday a bad day ?

Someone ordered a Large generic house. I made it, the furnitures, and told my client

"- Let's meet in 7 minutes !

- Thank you for being so fast.

- Np. You'll be able to get your... hum... was it a large CORELLIAN or a large GENERIC ?

- Generic.

- Can you please give me a bit of time so that I can makea large GENERIChouse ?"

Just a loss of attention during 1 minute... Hopefully I had enought components to build the second house.

Training Novice Architect was probably my biggest mistake.

Hehe Mine is a doozy I am a master architect on lowca.Anyway I went on a 4 day vacation with my wife and came back and found all my harvesters going strong.I wound up with 150k of ore and about that much in metals and other various stuff.Anyway I was happy as a bug in a rug threw all my resources in to input hopper of factory and started building bricks and generators and you know the drill.anyway after I started building my 5th load of a hundred bricks I get the factory bug.Now I was pretty tired bout 2 in the morning so I swear a little bit and redeed my factory to clear the bug Then about 2 secs after I did that I remembered I forgot to empty the input and output hoppers so there goes about 300k in resources down the tubes.I wish they would make factories like havesters so you can't redeed them if anything in hoppers :/

Made the big yellow couch. Placed couch in nice medium Tatooine.

Big yellow couch won't move, can't target.

Panic.

A half hour of troubleshooting ensues.

Eventually, friendly neighbor helps me move the couch, but he's not allowed to pick it up.

Discover that if I drag it to the sunken living room I can target the white base.

Hooray! I have established mastery over the couch! I am teh uber l33t couch placin daddy!

Pick couch up, place in front room of house just past the arch.

Helpful neighbor can't move it to where I can pick it up, and I still can't target it.

Discover that /move won't let the couch move past the archway.

Couch stays in foyer, mocking me everytime I enter and leave my house for the next four or five weeks until I redeed my house.

I was trying to make some high effectiveness crafting stations. I was have a run of bad luck on the experimentation so I went to practice mode because I wasnt even going to bother selling -12 rating stations. Then I gave up and starting working on a house order. I get into that zonewhere im not really paying attention, just click click click return return rinse repeat. Then I check my inventory, woohoo I have room for 20 more modules!

Oh **edit**, where are the 20 I just made?

Practice is evil sometimes.

BTW I cant believe that the word that sounds just like those things that hold back water in rivers and can produce hydroelectric power is automatically edited. Yes I can understand words like **edit**, **edit**, **edit** and **edit** being edited, but not **edit**. Its not such a bad word, and I say much worse ingame when I have those big crits.

I had a customer who was ready to buy a PA Hall deed. Iarranged everything with one of our Master Architects, including the fact that the customer wanted a Tatooine PA Hall (our PA is on Naboo).

It took a day for me to make the 15 walls. But then the Master Architect didn't come online that night. The customer was already on the way with the money, so I give the walls to our other Master Architect and ask him to make the PA Hall deed.

Of course, I forgot to tell him the customer wanted a Tatooine deed. He made a Naboo deed.

Imagine telling the customer who came all the way from Tatooine about my bone-headed mistake. I felt so embarrased, I gave him a big discount to wait another day for the hall.

Happy Ending: Customer wasn't mad and he got a good discount on the PA Hall deed. And we did eventually see the Naboo PA Hall to another customer.

I didnt understand that crafting tools had a efficency value that affected crafting

I didnt understand that crafting stations had an efficiency value that affected crafting

I ran up the buildings tree as fast asI could and never got any furnitureor construction skill, I never talked to other archetects.

I had made archetect so fast there were lots and lots of things I didnt really understand about the game, just wanted to get to Med Houses as fast as possible.

Crit Failed ( of course ) building my first med house. ( man that felt like a lot of materials at the time )

I research stuff a lot more now, learning by disaster sticks with you.

Now I have a Master archetect mentor, and team of people that we learn stuff together. Although I felt really stupid at the time, it amazes me now how many people dont understand other basic stuff, espically about business in general.
