Thread: Business seems like its way up Holocrons to blame?

Hi all,

It seems like the harvester business is WAY up. I think this is at least partly due to the large numbers of people grinding holocron professions; both people who decide to harvest stuff rather than buying it from miners, and from increased demand by miners.

Anyone else seeing this?

No, actually. I have my heavies selling all the way down to 2 cpu, no sales in over a week I am considering, and will most likely open, a resource vendor in the next week. I currently have over 50 deeds, several dozen pieces of furniture, and 2 pages of weapons loaded. The weapons sell (1-2 a day), and thats about it.

It was vehicles. They require about the same amount of resources as a small house. All the master artisans were buying them up to get enough material to keep vendors stocked. Infact. I am looking for more medium harvesters with a ber 10. oh, and need some power generators too. no one has any of this stuff in stock anymore.

I dunno if that's it or what, but I sell a constant stream (2-3 daily) of BER 10 mineral miners for 60k min. Torches and plants sell like hotcakes (ie: by the crate), small houses sell well for 12k. I put a med up every so often and it sells with in a day or 2. Furniture sells really well also. Dunno if holo's have anything to do with it or not though.

I have noticed it also. I put 2 heavy minerals with BER 13 on my vendor each day and they are gone within 24 hours for 135000 each. Nice change, not sure of the reason tho.

I see business up as well.

Harvesters sell like crazy.

But the problem I see on my server, theres no one selling resources anymore.

I can't build anymore cuz I am out of Aluminum. It's just impossible to harvest all and you need suppliers.

Now with the holo grinders buying all its getting tougher out there.

Wow... the Corbantis economy must be in rough shape. BER-13 heavies go for about 175k on Gorath. I sell about 10 a week.

I dunno if the economy is bad, per se. I think we are capping out. On the last resource change, I ran around trying to fing & spot on some ore.3 hours later, I had gone past 4 fields of harvesters literally covering from a 63 (center) to 49% (outter edge) concentration, while dodging houses, factories, Fusions on an ore spot (and Chems and Floras), while getting the dreaded Yellow Zone because of a <insert NPC thing here>. If you look back on these boards, you'll see someone wanted to buy a Cantina, price agreed, and I made one up. No show That was my last offer to buy anything.

Of course, we still get the folks who don't want to pay for things. Another thread, on the Corbantis forum, was from a guy who wanted Personalized things made for him. But he didn't want to pay "extraordinary" prices ( said 800 credits was WAY to much for a torch, let alone a personalized one). Where I am now is where the entire profession is gonna be inside of 3 months, barring some future change by the GameGods at SOE developement.

What the other poster said. Had trouble keeping BER13 heavies in stock at 160K on Bria.

When vehicles came out, all the good steel (and even most of the grinding steel and nonferrous) went away, driving the cost up for architects. Against this we have the factor of a lot of Holocash being spread around the economy. Finally, the hologrinders, for whom getting resources quickly is of importance.

Not sure where it's gonna level out, but I'm seeing increased demand for harvesters too.

I have definetly noticed an increase in business. I am going to have to use a novice marksman title for awhile to avoid all of the tells.
