Thread: /move UP and /move down DO NOT WORK IN GUILD HALLS!?!?!
I CANT! Radial works, but the command line DOES NOT.
FIX THIS IN THE HOTFIX ASAP

Commands don't work in work in Theaterseither. You can onlyuse the radial.

He was having trouble doing this so I stopped by. Both of us could use the command line to move objects up and down in houses.
In the PA Hall, in all of the rooms, it simply rejected the command. You can use the radial menu to move up, but it does it 1 unit at a time. Since they have made the units more fine-grained (which I applaud), you could sit there all day trying to raise it a foot.
As a software developer I am totally at a loss as to why the furniture move command would be affected by what kind of structure I'm standing in.
Check for the following:
1) If there is an "upholstered chair" anywhere in the building, the up command will not work because it thinks you are trying to target that object. (same goes for any other object starting with "up" but the chair is the most common culprit)
2) If there is a forward base (player owned faction base) within load range of your building, then you will be unable to use the forward command. Basically, if you step outside and can see the base, then it will mess you up.
You can get around both problems by naming the object you are trying to move in the command. For example: If you are trying to move an armoire try "/move armoire up". You do not need to type the entire name of the object, you can use an abbreviation as short as just the first letter. For example: "/move a up" should move that armoire.

BINGO!! Yep - he had an upholstered chair there. So by either picking up the upholstered chair, or by giving the explicit name for the item you want to move, you can do this.
Thanks for the help.
