I put up my weapons the new and improved way. I have no problems at all.

But I'm using the /move up or down # commands.

AHA - that explains why /move up would not work in my home... but did work in my tailor shop.
Going to go to my nearby Architect when they have time and have all new upholstered chairs made.. and named "comfy chairs" or something Thanks guys!

I would propose that they (Sony) rename all chairs to Chair Type 1, Type 2, etc... I would be afraid to rename anything for fear of it invoking some other problem.

LOL, I had alredy decided to create some "comfy chairs" before I even saw your post

Glad I could help out some people, this bug was annoying the heck out of me before I found the work-around.

the proper commands are

/moveFurniture UP xxxx

/moveFurniture DOWN xxxx

the caps are very important

if you dont use them the command does not function

this is different from the new /itemmoveup and /itemmovedown commands which I am using for small adjustments

Actually, you can still do just "/move up" and it will work just fine, as long as you don't have an upholstered chair in the building. Caps are not an issue with these commands.

That is my experience also. The commands seem to be case-insensitve. The only issue is their sloppy / non-intuitive parsing.

Just saw in another thread that another way around the bug is to double the direction command. Such as "/move up up". I haven't tried this myself, so I don't know if it works. TH has indicated that there's already a fix for this, so hopefully it won't be an issue for too much longer.

We had this problem in our city was located on Dantooine. Almost every structure was effected. After about 3 months wepacked up and left. We built on Rori and nowthe command line is working fine (including in the guild hall).
