- We can use crappy resources for 95% of our schematics and not experience any adverse effects to the item's usefulness.
- Two words: Lubricating oil.

- I can point to a player city's City hall and say /smuggly "I made that"
- I can drop 2M on ore and still need more.
- I built my own house and all the furniture in it.
- My factory is bigger than your factory.
- I consider deleting3k ofgas because its 'scraps'.
- All of our products have some sort of use, either functional or decorative.
- We an make paintings.
- You can'tstart a guild without the guild halls we make. Similarly, you can't make a city without the buildings we make.
- You can grind your way up architect making something useful.
- Because we can make useful, sellable items as novices the climb to master wasn't a wrist cramping, mind numbing grind session.
- The title 'foreman'.
- We are notheavily dependent on other professions.
I'm sure I'll think of more. Feel free to add your reasons too.

1-Being able to give away scraps of 2k-10k to newbies and have it make their day/week/life.
2-Standing in a field of harvesters when someone drives by and say..yea their all mine..and by the way, would you like to make some money placing 10 more for me.
3-Telling newbies that send you tells....thanks but...30k of ore really isnt that much...i will have to pass.
4-Paintings..... when does the first wookie nude painting come out.....
5-laughing at others that ask.....can i buy a heavy harvester for 20k?
6-hanging with friends and making 500k in sales while we are standing around.
7-having a vendor with homes/harvesters/factories on it.
what do i hate....
1-"do you make buildings" - no i just carry the title of architect for fun
2-"can you make me a really good building?" dang they figured me out...i only sell good buildings to my friends and everyone else gets my crap.
3-"how many harvesters can i get for 15k?"
4-"how does a harvester work?"
5-"i only want the mediums......heavies take too many lots" what the?!! are they talking about.
6-the dark and evil night of harvester runs.....
7-surveying surveying surveying
8-experimenting on stuff that does no good (homes, factories).
9-"someone recomended you...I am placing a big order for 2 small homes, one mineral harvester and a factory....can you deliver them to me i am <clear the crap in the middle of nowhere> three planets away....i need it fast?"
10-i will give you a 5k bonus if i can have<the previos order>dellivered in the next15 mins
11-"Heavies cost HOW MUCH???!!!!!, but i am your friend(that i have never seen online before 5 mins ago)how much for me"

- Spending 2 weeks mining enough ore to just make one of each house and harvester, only to have one guy buy them all at once, then want an order for 40 more heavies at a discount and by tomorrow

- Being able to sell 10m credits worth of items off the vendor in one day, and only have 2 customers come into the shop during that whole time
.
- Watching as 50 x +43 Crafting Stations roll off the production line and remember how happy I was to have brought a +35 many, many moons ago for 60k.
- Laughing as I buy stacks of 6k houses off the bazaars and then resell them all for double the price over the next couple of days (and laughing even harder when you find the occassional BER13 Heavy Miner listed for 6k).
- Telling people that "no worries, I'll take that 3m unitsof ore off your hands, and can I grab that 1m unitsof grind steel while I'm at it? oh yeah and I'll be back in a day or two to empty the rest of your resource vendor".

1. Because decorating is cool. Ain't no "GalacticWeaponsmith Show."
2. Other professions allow you to express yourself through your characters. We make art.
3. Chicks dig a wall of 100k resource crates.
4. If they counted the gardens and streetlights as seperare, we would solidly beat out chef and tailor for the number of different things we can make.
5. We already beat everyone else in variety of things we can make that will actually sell. (except maybe tailor, it's close)
6. Throwing down 10 heavy harvesters you just made on a fresh resource spawn just feels... Freudianlymanly for some reason. (Boo-yah?)
7. If I stumble across a spot by a lake where a house would be nice, I can make it and furnish it on the spot.
8. Who else can buy a pile of empty fish from a BE and sell the husks for 200-500 a pop on a decor vendor?
9. Every player organization begins with us.
10. You make stuff? We make stuff that makes stuff for you.
