On Naboo, it's Peko Peko (giant dragon birds) that drop wooly hide.

On Lok, it's the langlatches (lizards) that give wooly hide.

On Corellia, Gualamas (horses) that drop wooly, as well as durnis (rabbits).

Not sure about the other planets.

So basically it's giant killer monsters we have to slay to brew beer. I was worried as much.

Funny story, I live secluded in the mountains. One day I'm crafting beer and I just run out of hides; I walk outside spotting a PC blip and lo and behold, there's a Hunter shooting banthas on my doorstep. I heal him up, he replenishes my wooly hide stores and I get back to crafting.

The lesson is, live on mountains. -Pogo

I know Gurrecks and Mantrigues on Endor give Wooly, usually around 600-800 quality.

Hi,

various types of Bantha give wooly hide, although the quality varies and may not be as good as crafters would like. Tusken bantha hide seems to be the worst, although its the hardest to get BY FAR (fighting Tusken is serious business, I can tell U !!). Dune bantha hide is ok for XP grinding. ("Regular") Bantha hide seems to be best wooly hide on Tatooine - acceptable and marginally useful for crafters. Still - getting it is hard work. I heard that Bull and Matriarch hide is better - but have not confirmed it. It gets mixed into my normal wooly hide stock.

If you need wooly hides or anything from the wilderness of Tatooine ... mail me.

Seems to me hide shifts just like any other resource, meaning the quality of hide and amount gathered pr harvest pr animal will change dramatically throughout the game. Durni's on Coronet gave great wooly hide a while back on Eclipse. Now, it's not so hot.

Hides, bones, and meat all shift. What you get this week you may not be getting next week.

Gurrecks without a doubt are the best wooley hide providers at this time and only found on Endor!
