Thread: What is the nicest house?
I agree, the best house in the game is the Medium Naboo. Medium Tat and Large Naboo are close seconds. Med naboo is cheap on lots, has almost the same functional room as the Naboo large, and is a very elegant design.
Tat houses are roomy and well layed out. That is the major drawback to the Naboo Large (my old favorite till I owned one for a while; The naboo and generic large houses are ratmazes. But Naboo large is an elegant rat maze, where the generic large remind me of a prisons.
Stay away from Corellian and Generic architecture.
Smalls: Tat small is great for shops. Naboo smalls are not horrbile, and you can have a round one if that excites you.
I have been in almost all of them now since beta, and my permanent residence is a Naboo Medium.
Oh good, I'm not the only person to notice this. I tend to stick up for the devs FAR more than a lot of people, but they messed up on house design pretty badly. I mean, what kind of lame-brain would design a small house that's HALF hallway . . . before you even GET to a room!? If I was the architect I was labled as . . . I wouldn't ever THINK about designing these atrocites.
I haven't been in a med. Naboo yet . . . but from what you're saying . . . I think I know where I plan to live.
...as we cut to a reminiscent tvscene of people sitting in a smal AA style class...
Hello, my name is Mechis, and I own a large generic style 1 house. (the crowd chants back at the withdrawn individual) "Hello Mechis..."
... immediately the 5'5" figure of Mechis comes to life as he hells at the top of his lungs....
"AND I FRIGGIN LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"It's spacious, the main room I can entertain quite easily in, THERE'S NO DUST TO SWEEP EVERY 5 MINUTES!, it looks cool from the outside, and it's very well lit...that's right... well lit. That means that if I "want" to put torches in my house for "effect" I can. I don't "HAVE" to put them there because I can't see well enough."
"You don't like it... good for you! But don't be hate'n on what I call my home! Gah!"
...the short figure turns towards the door and marches out in a huff, leaving the small group of indiviuals in a a shocked, bug-eyed trance...
um... yeah... ![]()

... I forgot one of the best features... If I want to live on a different planet... I can.
I'd have thought this was a FAQ but I havn't seen any discussion about it in my brief search
Most people I knowIRLdon't live in houses that consist of mostly hallway, andwhere you go in the entrance, up a set of stairs, through two closest and 3 doors to get to the first room
Are there any really nice, well designed houses? Or are they all 60% hallway with a couple of pokey rooms and if you are LUCKY a large main room with a half a dozen doors hanging off it?
Thanks again.
Since a house (placement, cost, furnashing and so forth) is such a large effort, I don't think I'm going to "put up" with those nasty Corellian generics and counterparts. May as well put up without a house for a few extra days and ensure it is something you want
Definitely the Medium Naboo, in my opinion. Nice, round formal entertaining room, and a wrap around inner balcony on the inside. There is a room in the basement, one additional room on the ground floor, and two on the second floor, not including the foyer and balcony.
