Thread: Guild Hall lots and vendors Q
I have searched for hours and asked this question for months.
Could someone, maybe even a dev (If you have the time) tell me the amount of lots a Guild Hall takes? Some say 7 some say 9, I heard 0 at one point. So could someone who has recently placed one, wellI guess all placementhas beenquite recent, tell me how many lots it takes.
I am a Guild leader and also want to own a shop, I would like to have a little house to retreat to sometime. So if it is 7 (Hopes) then I could also have a small house. On a side note, if it is 9 (Shudders, why do they want to punish me?) can I put a vendor in a Guild hall?
Thanks
depends on what planet you place it on. I know for a fact that Tatooine PA Halls require 7 lots.
I believe, not sure, that Correlian PA HAlls require 9 lots.
Hope this helps

Forgot to say, i'm going to place a Generic PA Hall. I can see that it takes more resources so if they are different sizes this one must be slightly larger then the Tatooine PA Hall that I compared it to.
I think it is ludicrous for a PA Leader to have to give up ANY lots to create a PA Hall.
I am a PA Leader. I chose Architect JUST so I COULD create my PA. It's a LONG journey to Master Architect just so I can have an OFFICIAL PA in this game.
To PENALIZE me with taking 7 or MORE lots from me as an Architect to build this HALL just so I can be an OFFICIAL PA in this game is GIMPING my character.
I can not POSSIBLY provide RESOURCES for my members or be a viable MERCHANT if I am a PA LEADER and ARCHITECT whose ONLY claim to fame after reaching MA is that I give up 7 or more LOTS.
This really needs to be addressed.
The only way I can get around this current system is to create another account so he can create the Hall.
And no, I do not want to give the creation of the Hall to any member to hold the deed. Furthermore, I should not be required to even have to ASK any member to give up 7 or more lots just to create the hall.
I am NOT happy with the current mechanics of creating a PA in this game. I understand the logics of why the devs wanted to make it difficult to create PAs, however, your approach puts an unduly HARSH requirement on players who wish to remain in a community no matter how large or small, from day one.
My PA is a large one. We are doing what it takes to build the hall.
If you take ALL my lots away to build a PA Hall, effectively, you have gimped my character whose only purpose it seems was to level up to get an official PA.
WHAT is there left for me to do if I have NO LOTS AVAILABLE after the PA creation??????
I neglected to mention, I am MISSING 5 lots as well. I destroyed structures or let them rot out, and the game NEVER gave me back my lots.
I currently OWN and MAINTAIN:
2 med harvestors
2 small houses
1 factory
WHERE ARE MY MISSING LOTS?
I placed a naboo guild hall, and it was 9 lots... pretty sure corellian and generic are the same lot count... that gives you 1 lot left over to place a small style 2 house (those only take up 1 lot). If you're the building owner of the PA hall, you can place a vendor in it. Medium class harvesters (mineral mining installations) are 1 lot a piece. Small style 1 houses are 2 lots a piece.
Hope that helps.

Your not bugged,
Your medium harvester take 2 build slots.
Your small house takes 2 slots each.
Your factory takes 2 slots.

Actually...medium harvesters only take 1 lot each. I have 6 med harvester, 1 factory, and 1 small house.
There IS a bug that is causing players to lose their lot allotment.
