Thanks

Make walls out of structual modules, not only is it great XP but what you make is usefull. Dont use practice mode, those walls are going to come in handy later, or you can sell them to a master architect.

like everyone else mentioned, i made walls as well.

but when i ran out of ore i'd grind out clothing crafting stations in practice mode. they yeild around 900 experience points each and are a good way to gain if you're out of ore.

Yes macros can work and can be unbelievably helpfull, but I wont talk about that.

I will let someone else fill you in about macro's.

I should add that if you had unlimited resoruces and didnt mind throwing away 100's of K's of them. You could probably make master architect faster with crafting stations in practice mode. But what a waste!

So where did you find the holocron that told you to do this?

I hope these holocrons aren't just throwing out red herrings because if they are, I really think I will drop dead laughing.

I'm not in the least bit interested in holocrons. I was atually just being a wise-a$$ because I've noticed a sudden rash of "How do I get to Master as fast as possible" threads started in a variety of profession specific forums and am attributing it to the holocron craze. The macro question tipped this particular poster off.

I have nothing against the folks grinding to master because of the holocrons, just be sure and remember that if you are doing that, use the practice mode. It gives you more xp, and it doesn't flood the market with cheap goods, letting those of us doing this for fun have a more enjoyable time of it.

thanks for the advice and yup you guessed it holocron.

I've gotten to novice architect today doing tools pretty much the whole way. I've found a macro that works but still requires me to choose resources. No biggy, its a little funner than i thought. I grabbed biz 3 and got a vendor for deeds when i get there. The resources are killer though, gladly I saved 700k on my way to master sharpshooter.

Any other advice on what to craft, what to not practice on, anything really?

I could be wrong, but I believe everything gives you the same xp per resource used now, so it's a matter of picking an item that uses cheap resources, and a lot of them, so that you have fewer clicks to make. Structural modules fit that bill since they just use ore and metal. You can either practice them and get more xp, or you can make them into walls and either sell the walls to other architects, or save them to make structures as you gain xp.

If you aren't interested in making a profit, but would like to not lose as much cash grinding to master as you would if practicing everything, then I'd ask that you try to sell components to other architects, rather than flood the market with cheap finished products. That keeps the market from falling further, and should get you a bit of usage xp.

Perhaps someone should make a "guide to Architecture for would-be-jedis" and sticky it. I have a feeling we will be getting this question a lot.
