Thread: Vendor Maintenance
I placed my first shop yesterday and I noticed that the more expensive items are that you put into the more the vendor charges you, like alot more. My question is does your maintenance go down as you sell items or will it stay the same until you look at the status again? Does anyone put expensive building deeds on their vendor do they usually get sold? I'm afraid to put big ticket items on their since If they don't sell I'm out 10k a day in maintenance fees. Otherwise I will just keep them off the vendor and go back to shouting in town. lol.
My vendor maintenace is now up to 20k a day. Actually, 20k only gets me about 19 hours.
This rate has continued to rise since I first initiated my vendor a cople of weeks ago. I usually carry around 60-80 items in the vendor. Can someone please tell me if this is the normal maintenance rate ? Also, the rate continues to increase by a couple of thousand everytime I pay. This cant be correct.....Some feedback is appreciated.

Yes the NPC vendors only charge one credit a day but i think theres a bug in efficiency II Vendors its now 0 per day. I have three vendors and all of them take 0 maint. Cant call it an exploit becuse i selected them first then got the efficiency II. Its not my problem it will not take my credits..
Yes, the NPC merchants are bugged and currently only charge 1c a day ... but in my opinion using them is NOT an exploit ... because your efficiency tree is also not reducing your machine vendor cost. Nor will the NPC merchants wear the uniforms you give them.
Of course I'm sure the Dev's will fix the NPC vendors before they fix Efficiency ... hell its just one more way to screw us before they get the game working.

EEK! 10k won't hold me for 5 days? Poo... another thing I have to fund... blah, Soon I'll have to do missions missions so much I won't even have time for a stop at the cantina... or a real life for that matter.
Lol, so much for the devs idea of a game that "a hardcore player, and the average joe are equals in". I doubt many "average" players would be able to keep my 6 harvestors, house, vendor and factory going by playing 2 hours a day.
ok, one last question, if Maint goes to Zero, a customer would be unable to use the Vendor correct?
Do we get emails like structures when maint is getting low?
hehe, sorry that was 2 questions.
