Thread: Lighting decay, the un-expected effect.
I fully agree. Very well put.
Candles and lamps will now be used less.
*sigh*
The "hassle" outweighs how nifty they are.
In my opinion, these were a poor choice as renewable income for architects anyways. This game has extremely limited lighting options, the generic lighting in houses is too sterile and I WISH we had a "dimmer switch" or something (can you imagine how cool candles would be in a totally dark house, or guildhall, on a nicely decorated dinner table?), and it just adds a nice new option to lighting while making it a hassle.
*sighs again*
Yeah - great fix. Way to kill candle and lamp sales.

Or how about just adding a light bulb element? That way we could sell something and we wouldnt have to re-position complex furniture placements every 30 days. Food for thought.
Sense has been spoken, and I have quoted it.

I'm not sure if anybody else noticed, but it also affected lights that were placed by the game. When I went into Theed Cantina, I noticed the free-standing lamp next to the stairs was out.
that is funny,... I wonder if we are going to see CSR's running around doing lighting maintance

You know, that would be really cool if you could turn all the generic lighting off... Very cool.
Agreed. If we were able to do that, as well as pick the outside colors of houses during crafting, Architect would be much better off. Two small changes would be a lot of love for one crafting profession and happiness for the general player base.
You have repair kits for armour, ships, weapons and custom kits for droids, ships, vehicles
so why not make lighting kits for candles and lights
whenkit is invent,it should give a extra option when clicking lighting to add extra duration to them
