Thread: What is up with the empty vendors?
I have been roaming my galaxy(shadowfire) in search of a chem factory. Not one architect that I have visited has had any in stock.
Why is this? Do they sell out so quickly? And who's got them on my server?
Terribly sorry. I did? I've ordered from other architects and they haven't delivered. I've waited days for other deeds that I was told would be done "tonight" or "in a few". I'm just asking about the "in-stock" issue.
I really don't remember telling you I didn't want your wares though. Was it here or in game?
aww..heck. I'm an idiot. I did tell you no. That was because you quoted me a price that was at least twice the other quotes I've gotten. I had you confused with another Arch with a name that started with an "N".
Cheapest quote I have is 60k for chem factory and high cap floral farm.
In regards to you...the price is the only reason I declined your offer. Yours was the single highest quote for a factory. The median was between 15-30k for a factory. If you had offers like that would you buy from you?
Regardless, my main aim here was to find out why no one kept any in stock. If people need them in a hurry shouldn't they be able to get them?
seems to me you CAN get it, but it will cost you more... the people selling a factory at 15k are crazy as it takes 13,000 resources to make it... odds are they can't provide enough if they're really selling at that price and will likely be out of business bankrupt before long.
I'm not on Starfire, but i charge 45k for a factory... sell em fairly often.
As she already said... you are highly unlikely to get it now AND get it cheap... and from your experience with those priced at 15-30k so far.... you may not get it at all.
just some thoughts.
So you had offers to sell you structures at between 1 cpu and 2 cpu when the raw materials alone have a market value between 3 and 4 cpu... and you are surprised that no-one making these offers has inventory to deliver?
You do know that they take 13.5K raw materials which have an aprox market value of 40-50K dont you?
If people want things in a hurry shouldn't they expect to actualy pay for them?
The architects that play as charities virtualy giving their stuff away are seldom worth anything when it comes time todeliver a product.
No, I CAN'T get it. No one has any ona vendor. Not even a 45K factory.
Think of it from my point of view: I can wait for a 15K factory or I can wait forthe samefactory at 45K.
Maybe if I didn't have to wait at all I would consider buying a more expensive one. 30K more expensive? No. 10K more I would buy it...maybe even 15K more.
I do not want to argue the price of a chem factory. I am not an architect. I am a consumer. I see a good offer and that is what I base my shopping off of. Pricing is for you as a profession to hash out.
I had a simple question: Why does no one keep them in stock?
"I had a simple question: Why does no one keep them in stock?"
we don't have the luxury of products that take 200 resources to make and sell for 10k credits.
