Thread: What is up with the empty vendors?
I think Chiaros answered your question, and I'm not trying to argue with you... I'm simply pointing out the facts.
You asked why they weren't available... and I told you... at 15k the person simply can't produce enough to keep them in stock. At 45k they can have it for you shortly... a lot of architects aren't going to stock everything we can make... I rarely do myself... but I have the resources on hand to be able to make a number of items every day. If I tried to stock everything I might have 3 large naboo house orders one day but only have 1 available. If i just have the resources on hand I can better serve those customers.
Hope that helps you to understand what I'm saying....

To piss you off, Rebel.
I personally dont' keep my vendor stocked with items in the 10-100k range because of the very high maintenance cost that a fully stocked vendor would incur.
15K for a freaking factory?!?!
At least I have the pleasure of knowing those idiot Architects are cutting there own throats. I will ALWAYS be able to outlast those idiots and laugh at them when they surrender there certs after realizing what they have done.
The true pleasure come when the choose a combat profession and go with the Rebellion. Then I can kill these damnable idiots for building indestructable structures for so little.
I try to keep at least one factory on my vendor. Most of my sales on structues are requests.
My factories sell pretty good for 49k. I will toss some on my vendor this afternoon again may
drop the price to 45k to keep up with the times ![]()
Other than that I usually have every type of furniture stocked most of the time along with Harvesters.

I think the problem you have is that someone or a couple of people are selling for 15k and all the other architects are buying them and reselling.
I know if I saw someone selling factories for 15k I would buy every single one and sell them on my vendor at my normal price.
It isnt even worth the annoyance to make one at that price hehe.

i sell factories for 45-50k depending
also one the subject of empty venders
it costs alot to leave a 50k plus item on a vender
so my box is a resource drop box for resource dealers and a special orders box if i cant stay on to make a pre-ordered sale
but everyone knows if you leave anything on my vender for more than 3 or 4 hours you will not have that liberty again

Everyone hang on to your behinds.
If I saw someone selling a factory for 15K I would buy it and re-sell it at 30k
"I had a simple question: Why does no one keep them in stock?"
You answered your own question with..
"The median was between 15-30k for a factory."
The math:
A factory takes around 10-12kquantity ofresources.
10-12k of resources sells for at least 3k credits on the bazaar, that is 30k at least.
Your low number, I am taking something worth 30k resources and turning it into 15k credits, I paid YOU 15k to make you a factory.
Your high number, I am taking something worth 30k resources, adding my work and time to it, and am I increasing its value with my time or work? NO. I just made you a factory for zip.
The reality:
No one keeps them in stock, because you make MORE money with LESS effort selling the resources on the bazaar. Architects are refusing to stoop to these garbage prices. Notice allot of miners around? Know what they are? Ill tell you. They are architects that got sick of giving there products away for nothing.
One final thing, a question for you. How can you have a "median" price if you have to run around in game and cant find one, then have to continue your search on a public forum saying "Why does no one keep them in stock?"?
Looks like you are out of public welfare housing vendors... the "median" price just went UP.
Ohh... just so you and those like you will know, the flow of cut throat lower than whale poodoo pricing vendors is drying up. Once they figure out that allot of work gathering materials, and advancing architect will get them less than just selling the resources, they will quit selling structures and mine. When the price of resources drops because of the overflow of miners, they will find something else to do.
Either way, that garbage price is going to die, and people like you will have to pay what those structures are really worth, not some trash charity price.
The proof in what I say, is in your dificulty in finding someone to build you a factory for "15-30k". I wont work for that, and from what you say, seems not to many others are stupid enough to do it either.
You and others like you have been spoiled way to long. Time to open up that moth eaten wallet and pay treat some architects with some respect for a frickin change.
GrandMuf,
First of all: Pike off...don't be a frickin smarta$$.
Second:You said..."One final thing, a question for you. How can you have a "median" price if you have to run around in game and cant find one, then have to continue your search on a public forum saying "Why does no one keep them in stock?"?
Median means average. I ran around and that was the average price range of factories excluding the 45K+ quotes.
You said..."You and others like you"
Me and those like me are your customers. Simple example: I go out shopping for a new car. One guy has one for 15K another has one for 45K. The first thing I think is: "what is wrong with the 15K car? After finding out they are both exactly the same, of course I would buy the 15K car. Especially after finding out that I have to wait for delivery either way. Why is this? They don't have car lots? Oh,they have to pay, in relation to price, to keep it on the lot. Alright thanks for the info.
That is all I wanted to know. Wasn't asking about the price here. (I've writen this before)
You are telling me that the 15K car dealers are going to run themselves into the ground. OK, but as a consumer and not a direct competitor of either car dealer, I just got an awesome deal and I'm happy.
You said..."The proof in what I say, is in your dificulty in finding someone to build you a factory for "15-30k". I wont work for that, and from what you say, seems not to many others are stupid enough to do it either."
I had no difficulty finding them...I was wondering, as I said at least three times if you had bothered to read the previous posts, why no one keeps them on the vendor.
You said..."You and others like you have been spoiled way to long. Time to open up that moth eaten wallet and pay treat some architects with some respect for a frickin change."
I spend every last credit almost daily. But I shop around for the best deal. My wallet is not moth-eaten...it is falling apart from overuse!
I fail to understand how a simple question about vendors has disrespected your whole profession. If I did, I'm sorry. I just had a simple vendor question!...I thought.
