This isn't a flame or critisism, but do people buy furniture at 10K / piece? I have customers that treat a 12K house or harvester as a major purchase. 10K isn't that much for people who do missions on uber-planets, but I didn't expect anyone to pay that much.

Id like to know how your making ALL the furniture ?...considering the resources for a couple of specific items have NEVER been on our server.....

That's a good point. I was just figuring demand for furniture wouldn't be high enough to support that cost. I didn't count on the supply for specific items being that low.

People have repeatedly shown they are willing to spend far more on their furniture than they did on their house.

The 10k types arent for the normal person, they are endor couches and dath hide loveseats, and the elite wealthy do buy them for their large houses.

Agreed. I'm a professional interior designer, and I must say it's all very lucrative. I sell all elite furniture between 4 and 6k, and it's still selling faster than I can make it. I've discovered that torches also sell at any price, the fact that they require a component lets you sell them for about 4x their resource worth. You'd be amazed at what people spend on furniture. I got 38k furnishing a medium generic, 30.5k for a medium Naboo, and 110+k for a generic PA Hall. That was all just today. Overhead is also at a minimum, a good 33% of that was profit.

I currently make all furniture that I have resources for (basically master level bookcase, loveseat and couch),

all standard items are priced at 6c per standard unit, 10c per hide unit rounded up

torches are selling strong at 1k a pop and I have friends on naboo selling out at 1.5k a pop

items requiring wooley hides sell for a bit more

master level stated above is 4k, 6k, 8k respectively

I'm continually shocked at how much some architects sell their furniture for and actually seem to get it. The most expensive thing I sell is the Master's level couch at 4.75 K cr. The really easy pieces like the chest and end table go for 2K and that's an insane markup on easy to acquire resources, and darned few of them at that.

I've made more money off furniture than housing to date, and I charge about half of what I see so many others charging. But hey, it's what the market will bear, and if they can move the merchandise, I say more power to them.

I make decent money on furniture but i don't have that much business. I can't seem to draw people to my shop as much as i woudl like. It might be because i'm near a small town that not many people are around. I thought that was an advantage because more people would need things but for now, people seem to have what they want and im in a slump. I cant sell a small house for 10k. I go to town and get no tells. Sometimes no one is even in town..lol I'm talking about Doeba.
