I walked through a guy's large house that was beautifully decorated with furniture. He said that he had spent over 100k to furnish his house. So yes, if they have the money they will spend it. After all they don't have income taxes, no social security taxes, no car insurance, no home owner's taxes and they don't even have to eat if they don't want to. Spendinglots of money on clothing and furniture is where I think everything is going to eventually head to anyway.
