Thread: Harvester sales slowing down?

I'm thinking that after the Holo grind craze that we might be reaching the saturation point on harvesters. I still sell a respectable number of harvs, but it is not what it had been, and I'm actually getting more resources than I can use.

Both of these factors lead me to believe that the world of harvester sales is getting to the point we all knew we'd get to someday - few sales because these never wear out.

Or is this just me?

I see harvesters on fire all the time, and with so many people leaving the game, those people with huge farms on traded lots are bound to get screwed from time to time.

I put 20 Heavy Minerals on my vendor Sunday night at 195k per... down to 2 today. Guess I will have to raise the price again to keep them in stock.

Mine have slowed down a bit. I never was a high-volume producer so it's hard to give solid numbers. People are still buying but it feels slower and maybe a little more "bursty" in that someone comes by and buys 2-5 from my vendor.

Have been an architect since more or less day 1 and probably Radiant's biggest producer - certainly the oldest! I'm still turning over 10+ heavy salesa night, sometimes many more, but that's probably now down by 20% on recent weeks. Thingsgot pretty slow prior to the Holocon "bubble" and I'm sure they'll head that way again, alas.Still, it was fun while it lasted.

I'm still seeing some business and its still alot but its not as hectic as it use to be. A month or so ago i'd be spending a whole night just filling an order several times a week. now I can fill my orders with plenty of time to do other stuff. Maybe i'm getting better organized, maybe this is a lull in business.

Well, I don't know about a global slowdown, but I know that once I get master arch in a few days I'll be in the market for some heavies so I don't have to find good materials myself...will probably be a few weeks before I can affoard said heavies, but hey, I'll still be looking :/

I have over 140 heavy harvesters on my Vendor... I sell 2-4 a week. I am known, I ran a grand opening & handed out Holo's as a draw. My location is on the map. I have MA in my title with the wp to my store in my character sig, I answer every request on the trade forum, my prices are about 60% of what I see here, my stuff is only the highest quality...

Darned if I know what else I can do. When I talk to customers I always get complemented on how well stocked my Vendors are ( I sell furniture, vehicles, deeds, weapons, tailor supplies and kits), and my prices on ALL of that is @ 60% of what I see on other vendors (with that much stuff to sell, I have a lower profit margin). But it's just a game. If sales dry up or I can't stay in buisness, I'll just move on

My vendor is very low all the time. I sold 70+ BER10 medium harvesters in the last 2 weeks, I raised the price once they sold out and put loads more on, they have sold at the same rate and I only have 2 left now.

There are literally 100's of BER10's out there and my aim is to replace each one of them with BER13.

I am making loads of them in my factory as we speak.

Bare in mind this is only mineral harvesters, I neither have the time nor resources to build anything other htan mineral. People are always asking me for heavy chem/flora and gas harvies but i just dont have the resources.

I do fear that this is thanks to the holo craze, i hope we still have a few months left to the holo grinding because I am producing more than ever at the moment.

I hope there will be a better income than candles soon. I WILL NOT be relying on candles and lights to make money. Im an architect, not an Ikea salesman.

Sale of mediums has significantly dropped off.

Sale of heavies is still very strong. I craft them .. poof .. gone.

Have fun
