Thread: Pholokite Extrusive Ore Pricing
Greetings, I have newly started to minea nice deposit of Pholokite Extrusive Ore with 898 UT and ~741 OQ. I am wondering what an acceptable price would be for such a resource in large quantities (>120k).

Isn't Pholokite used ina Master Level furniture piece? If I remember correctly, it is... so I would say don't sell massive quantities.. break it up and sell in smaller chunks for higher than 3cpu. I would personally price it around 6cpu in 10K lots...

i dont pay more than 3cpu for ANYthing. my prices from my usual supplier is lower than that so i usually sell at 3cpu and make a nice profit.
at 6cpu i can drop my own harvestor while you comb my foot hair.
Trying to charge an Architect more then 3 credits for any kind resource other then endor wooly and dath leather will get you no where. Architects always get the bad end of the stick when it comes to prices for their goods so that makes us very unwilling to pay a lot for resources since wewouldn't be able to getback what we paided for them when selling our final products.

Hold on to it until the resource shifts and there is no Pholokite on your server - THEN take Traax's very sound advice and offer it to Master Architects for 10 cpu.
On Scylla (as of yesterday), there hasn't been pholokite or Ionite Intrusive (the other specialty ore we need for Master level furniture) in some time... They, and Kelsh Copper (which I should have seen occasionally), are the only materials I need to do a full set of Master furniture.
I'd never pay 10 cpu for any arch resource.... there simply would be no monetary return on the investment.
if it was gone for a while and i really needed it i might pay 5-6 cpu for a small amount of it... 4 or 5k probably.
oh, and Trebs.... you know that the Armoire schematic that uses Kelsh Copper is screwed up right? It makes the exact same thing as the next armoire down on your list. Another little thing that hasn't been fixed yet.
To my knowledge Pholokite has never shown on Lowca .. had 2 shifts with Ionite and it's what ? 4 months ? I wouldn't pay anything for pholokite though mainly because as soon as it hit lowca I'm gonna mine 500k of it so I don't have to worry about it for a long time
