Maybe, but I sell more of those (and faster) than I do anything else, so I am willing to pay a bit to make them

If I didn't have several 100K of Pholokite I would gladly pay 10+ for it.

Heck, if anyone on here is from Eclipse and has Ionite Ore then I will do the same for that.

These 2 resources, plus Dath leather and Endor Wooly are the hardest things for us to get.

I am VERY willing to pay well for them.

The people saying that it is insane to pay 10 cpu should visit my shop, note how muchI charge for those tables, note that I ran off 50 in a factory and now need to make more.

People need to be a bit more flexible... you make much better money that way.

Of course.. if you are fortunate enough to get a bunch of this mined yourself then this whole discussion is pointless. Now if only I could build a harvester for Wooly hide

<chuckle> I just remembered I used 200K of this stuff to make 1000 structure modules too </chuckle>

OMG I just posted this off-hand.. like giving a little advice on how to increase the value of RARE (<-- Mentions Again -- RARE) ore.. it isn't just any Ore.. geesh you people... of course normal Ore goes for 1.5 to maybe 4cpu for Carbonate but try and find Pholokite just any ole time..

If Ionite Ore would ever show up on Ahazi I would mine the hell out of it.. cause it is selling for 20cpu right now.. If .. Huge IF... you can even find it.. same with Pholokite..

...and Endorian Wooly / Dath Leathery is WAYYYYY easier to find... just contract a combat class.. simple.. solved.. but Ionite and Pholokite are ghost resources... I mined about 100K Pholokite in the 4 days it was available just cause I wanted it for any furniture requests.. am not going to sell.. but if I did.. I certainly would treat it as a specialty item because my customer would be making a Specialty Product called Furniture... you think the white furniture is cheap?... it isn't on Ahazi...

You guys just get way too animated over a game... you know it was just an opinion.. ROFLMAO...

and to all of you who personally attacked me.... All I can do is laugh at the pathetic gesture... grow up.. SWG is a game first and foremost.... yes I know it doesn't seem like it sometimes.. hell I even deal with that.. but it really is...

So go ahead and attack me again.. it gives me a real laugh.. and it certainly displays the level of maturity these Architect boards can attract...

Choo Choo.. I can hear the FLAME engine coming down the tracks.. YAY!!!

Wow--Thanks to everyone for the replies (I didn't expect any!)

I sold over 100k of this stuff at 2.75 cpu.. oops

I think I'll hold on to the other 30k I have until it is very rare and I'll try to find some more to mine!

All you guys that are saying "your crazy to buy at that rate" or "You will never make a profit" must be coming from servers that have either an overabundance of architects or a lack of a market. If I bought pholokite at 10/unit Id still be making a very healthy profit and moving those tables faster then I can make them. Were talking about 75 pholokite and 100 aluminum per table thats 1050 total cost at 10c/unit and 3c/unit respectively. I sell any and all marble white furniture at a bare minimum of 5000 credits per item and cant keep my vendor stocked fast enough.

The problem is those white tables can't one shot a krayt dragon, so they just aren't worth much. If it has been out of shift for a long time, like it has on starsider, then 10cr/u is about right. Otherwise it isn't worth much, people just don't put much value in a little white table.

Mierin, there's an architect in my town selling all furniture at 3cpu regardless of what goes into it.

another who has advertisements on most bazaars that he doesn't sell ANY furniture for more than 500 credits.

so, yes, my market is probly different from yours... can I make a profit at 10cpu for the pholokite? sure, but I make more profit mining it myself and keeping it on hand.
