Not to be rude, but there are quite a few very helpful threads already around to guide the novice architect.

Artisan survey missions will help you pay the bills if you're facing burning harvesters.
Selling walls to master architects is another way to make money early on.

(My Master Architect is my alt character)
You should get in contact with an Master Architect, and become a sub-contractor.
Master Architects dont feel like building houses and walls. I hate walls!
But walls are difficult, I for one. Will only accept them in 100 quantities crates.
And those are expensive to make. Since you will need alot of resources.
What really jumpstarted my Architect character (beside the MBH funding it)
was a rare resource I harvested and sold to crafters. If you have Master Artisan,
you could sell some vehicles.

Forgot to add.
Factories are a great way to earn some Credits. Always people wanting to buy them.
Easy to make and profit isn't so bad, since you can overcharge them a bit

On Bria I would reckon on 50k for a factory, that is what I always quote and it seems around the right level, but I only give this price in response to tells, I don't make them as a rule.
Walls you should be able to sell at around 8k a piece, but bear in mind you will probably need to set up a deal with an architect in advance, not all architects will want to buy walls that are hand made as they take up a lot of storage space. Crated walls are best, but that means you will need a factory, also will slow down the xp you get if you don't hand make them. Later on you will probably want walls yourself if you intend to make structures of any kind so bear that in mind if you decide to make and sell walls.

If you want to sell walls on Bria send me an in-game email (Bandola), I cannot promise anything but we can at least discuss to see if a deal is worth working out between us.

Actually, get in touch with me whatever, I may have a proposition whereby I can take you on as an apprentice. I will need to think about it and work out some details, but it could be beneficial to both of us.

Bria is expensive. I sell factories for 35k on sunrunner. And walls go for 6k.

Janobi I"ll tell you how I started my crafter on Bria. My main is on gorath so I did not watn to have to spend a lot of time on Bria. Surveyed a lot of resources and ran the survey missions til I was at about 20k credits. Just find a good vein of 70+% metal 1024-1400 meters out from a mission term, then run back and forth picking up metal concentration missions for top price (which requires 70%).
Then at 20k you can buy a good solar harvester. This is where it starts to get easier. If this is your main you can continue to do survey missions. If not, just plop solar down, pay it up, come back 3-4 days later. Put power for sale on bazaar for as much as you think you can get, rinse and repeat. You'll have an income greater than your expendature and you can build up from there. If you are playing this as a main great, do missions til you can afford another solar, have 2 down. Then start on mediums. You are going to want to buy at least 2 - 3 medium BER 10 minerals. Will make your life much easier. Then follow around viens of ore and steel as needed and grind, keeping up with solar and mineral harvesters, and selling off exceess power you collect.
I know for a fact as a casual gamer (this almost is better for the casual gamer than a powergamer) this will get you to master with some money left over.

My advice is similar to Neclomite's but I would suggest selling wind power as you can find higher BER(9) windmills than solar power generators and at a lesser cost. I found when I was starting that fiberplast sells really well. I sold it on the bazzar for 2.5 cpu. Ya you can get more for it but at that price it will sell itself overnight while you sleep. Just find the right market for it, alot of people suggest Coronet but I found my auctions would get lost among the hundreds already there. Selling in Anchorhead I was able to get rid of all lots in a fashion that allowed me to maintain my harvesters in a timely manner.

Flora Farms and hunt wheat for the doctors. Wheat almost spawns in huge %s and easy to sell.
