Thread: House Buying
I went to this link
http://www.swgcenter.com/info/schematic.asp?id=163
to see what resources are needed and wondered if the list was still accurate. Does an architect just need to use these resources and fabricate the different sections and then combine them into a deed? When he sells a deed to someone like me the house is all ready to go except being placed right? I don't need anymore resources just cash to maintain it, no power or anything?
I am just trying to get my ducks in a row and have the cash to buy it from the architect. Is there a general listing of what houses go for anywhere? I have seen some people talking about 5-15k for a small house which seems cheap but that is waht got me wondering if there was other things I need to get a house put up besides the cash to buy the deed from the architect.
Yes, the schematic is current. When you have the deed the house is ready to be placed. You will need to pay for maintenance. Hope this helps.
any idea on what the maintenance fees run?
any idea on what the maintenance fees run?
1) Yes, a lot of Architects will take your resources and craft you the structure for a steep discount, I do it for free myself. But what you have to remember is, we can and DO have failures. Myabe it's just a piece here and there, but if you come to an Architect with the EXACT resources needed, she or he will likely NOT be able to finish your home. You also need to be prepared for the chance of a critical failure on the final craft, which means you lose everything. Don't expect the Architect to reimburse you, it's not our fault, and we deal with the daily.
2) A medium house has a maintenance rate of "17" and costs 34 credits per hour, or 816 credits per day. The "maintenance rate" listed in the building's status in the Structure Management Terminal is in HALF HOURS. So the maintenance rate on a small is, I believe, 7, which means 14 credits per hour, or 336 credits per day.
