Thread: Factory Problem
Sorry of this has been explained before but
i have a wearables factoy. ive been using it for about 3 weeks, to make my fiberplast panels and armrweave segments, and even 10 - 15 count factory crates of armorweave. for the last 2 weeks i have also been using it to create Chitin Segments. Last night, after it finished a run of Armorweave segments, i tried a run of Fiberplast panels. It Stopped after 2 miutes, and sucked the resources for 1 panel, but nothing was in the hopper. I tried everything i could think of, including making a new schematic, reducing the number of items the schematic can make, changing resources on the schematic, etc. Then a friend told me i should try to redeed, That worked. It made the fiberplast panels, and then it made some synth cloth for me.
Now today i tried to make some chitin segments. Same thing as last night, it sucked the resources and wont produce anything. What the hell. I cant keep redeeding this **edit** factory every time i want to use it. Am I doing anything wrong, or is there a known workaround?

The workaround is to redeed. This is a know issue, and it's the reason why there's no cost to redeed factories ATM.

I ran into this problem today.
I have 2 factories right next to each other.
In one of them I was running 1000 Small Structure storage modules, the factory stopped producing after 800something, even though there was clearly enough material left if wouldnt make more.
The hopper was only half full, I removed the shem put it back in, I removed the resources put it back in.
Nothing would work.
I put the same thing in the other factory and all ran fine.
Power and maintenace was payed in heaps on both.
Anyone ever encountered this??
One thing to look for is full output hopper. I know that you said you checked, but I've had cases where it barfed when the hopper only had 80 items in it. I also seem to notice it more when I have Ore Mining Units in the output hopper. I'm also wondering if we *are* seeing a "storage capacity" limit (on factories) that counts not only the number of items (like in your inventory), but a *total* number after expanding the numbers in the crates?
The factories are on across trade so no Email.
But yes, I have Ore mining units in the output hopper and it was filled to about 60 items at the time.
I will have an eye on that
the only work around for the error e-mail bug is to lift the factory and place it again.. so i hope you kept records on your x server trade..
well its the only work around that i know of... cs prolly wont help you because you dont own the factory.
