I've been noticing several Merchant tents around in Player cities in recent weeks, and I've been wondering, who builds these? How many lots does one of thes take up? Can I put a Vendor in them?

An architect can build them, but it takes part from a tailor to do so. They come in thee colors, and yes they are made for vendors, there is little room for anything else in them.

Architects make them with Reinforced Fiber Panels (Factory run) and Fiberplast Panels + metal resources. They take one lot, have 75 storage, you can put several vendors in them, along with items.

It takes a merchant with Effencicy IV to be able to place one of your own. If you don't have that level, then you have to work with someone who does, get them to drop the tent, then make you admin on it so you can place a vendor. Works just like any house.

For a pure merchant, this is a good alternative to a house since it only takes the one lot and has a small footprint.

I really hate this requirement. This has essentially made a new product and limited sales of the product to almost the SMALLEST element in society exclusively. One wonders at the logic here.

"We have this great new FEATURE for architects!"

"But you'll never get to sell more than 3 or 4!"

Please change this requirement to novice merchant. That makes more sense. I keep eff 4 for harvesting and quite a few other things. Not for the stupid tent.

3 or 4? - You must be doing something wrong... i've sold maybe 80 of these. I can't keep them in my vendor because i sell out too fast. - If i only had the tailor skills, i would sell maybe 6 a week.

Believe I read in some patch notes that the skill for placing tents was moved to Management 4, from Efficiency 4.
