Thread: Top 10 Questions.. This is what I have..*Updated*

Ok .. I have come up with10 questions.. Let me know what you think.. I would like to submit this list Tonight to TH so work fast.. (latest sunday morning if there is alot of discussion ..)


Also two issues that were brought up that didnt make the list but are still very important is the issue on Consumable items. And Player City Specific items.. The consumables is an issue that I think we want to have more of a hands on participation in developing and think that it is best left for top 5 issues.. and the Player City specific items I think would be a good idea for me to speak with Bajeezus about too.(afterall if that politicians and the architects can get on the same page for these items I think we will see more results)..


So with that being said Here is the list.. Please vote agree.. or disagree.. (if u disagree say why)


1) Can you please verify and explain the Function of Higher effectiveness ratings on Crafting tools and Crafting Stations?


2) Are Solar and Fusion working as intended by not having ability to experiment on effectiveness on final assembly?


3) Will we get new Furniture and Color Palets for all Furniture (or at least most)?


4) What is Architect's future in the GCW?


5) Is there going to be More Housing styles and why do Generic and Corelian Houses(some) share floorplans?


6) Will we get to move items Up/Down?


7) Will storage type Furniture(chests, armoires)ever get to be used for storage(like backpacks are currently being used for)?


8) Will we ever be able to drop furniture outside ?(like crafting stations in Player Cities and patio furniture on balconies)


9) Why cant ALLfactory created items be crateable and stack in higher amounts( like structure modules @100)?


10) Can we Please get harvester animation and Status Display bugs Fixed?

Pretty good, and trust me all us politicians want player city specific structures so we look more like cities. As it stands right now everything is the exact same as groupings of homes from months ago only with a cantina, city hall, starport, and decorations. New building art would be an immense help for us and architects since it will increase the number of people in cities to get them and increase the demands for lamps and gardens yatta yatta. Just a few things though:

That way TH has to give a bit more of a definitive response rather then "it's coming." Looks good though. However I'm not an actual architect but I use a lot of your goods and decorate homes for spending money so that is my perspective on this. Take it as you will but just a humble characters response.

Well the thing is that the PA, rifleman, and I believe politician one have already been sent in (those are the boards I spend time on) as well as others I'm sure. Sadly arch's have had to play catch up with your angel missing (yes that was a bad pun) so there probably won't be too much discussio available.

Yes as far as our top 10 goes.. if we want them to even get acknowledge we must hurry .. Almost every other professon has turned theirs in days ago.. I have read18-20 pages back of threads in this forum .. and i think this a pretty fare account of many Architect questions..


(remember these are seperate from our Top 5 Issues..we will have more time (not much ) to activaly discuss our top 5 issues..

I would also like to know if they have investigated into why being a "master" you can often crit fail 2-3 times in a row...especially when the meter says "0". Nothing irks me more...


BER ratings on meds vs. heavies: The cost to usage ratio of mediums far outweighs the heavies. A BER10 versus a BER13 heavy mineral is way better as far as cost is concerned. More people use them than they do heavies. Are there plans to allow BERs on the heavy duty stuff go just a little higher? (Come on...who wants to buy a BER8 Solar over a BER8 wind gen...)


If there are going to be future enhancements to Architect line, more schematics and such, will they be a bit harder or easier to craft than a swoopbike (which should have used a lot of components to make) and what relevance do/will they make in this GCW?


Will you allow for customization of home colors?


In the long term of things, why should Master Architects stay in their profession?



Just a few random questions I have, but the BER rating one is really important, to me at least.

4) What is Architect's future in the GCW? Agree - to be honest, this is where decaying features should be brought into the profession, not at the housing / storage / furniture level.


5) Is there going to be More Housing styles and why do Generic and Corelian Houses(some) share floorplans? Agree - Better floorplans would also be good, the Large Naboo is horrible.


6) Will we get to move items Up/Down? I love the creativity of players that this has generated by not having this, but yea, Agree !


7) Will storage type Furniture(chests, armoires)ever get to be used for storage(like backpacks are currently being used for)? To be honest, I don't think this is a top-10 issue, so disagree.

Trying desperately to think of a replacement for No. 7 ! Too short a time frame... Oh yes.. Factories, when will our experimentation on them actually have an impact, and can we possibly get to affect the speed with which factories make things.. just a little

I know I'm just a lowly image designer, but is lighting an important issue to you? The lack of lighting options is driving me nuts. We shouldn't have to use tiki torches in an advanced society.

Ok I have one proposal, that is to allow us architects to create a "warehouse" or storage house. The catch is, when we create it, we can actually decide how many plots it takes up. Along with this, as the # of plots it takes up increases, the # of stored items also increase. Such as 1 = 75, 2 =150 and so on and so forth. They can even if they want, create a max of maybe 6 plots or something along that line. I think this would greatly benefit the profession (a new item and demand) and the ability to store our massive amounts of resouces and components that we need to have. Last, it would also benefit other professions such as WS who need to store a lot of stuff as well. Thank you

4) What is Architect's future in the GCW?.... Bunkers ....trenches .....etc.... would also be destroyable..therefore a renewable source of income
