Yup, and I think BER 14 heavies will be around too, need to test them, not sure how fusions will come out yet.

The trick is to get yourself a new architect inspiration buff (available from musicians)

Then the resources you use will get a 10% bonus, so as long as your resources would reach 91% then you add on the 9 to reach 100% (I have tested with resources that should give 55% and they gave 60% and 88% gave 96% so we are fairly sure you need 91% to reach the 100%, but I didn't have any resources I could hit 90% with easily)

With a light omu experimented to 100% and a medium mineral experimented to 100% then you will get a BER 11

NB: with less than 100% on either the light omu or the final build you do NOT get BER 11.

So this means all the 97% OMU's I have are now useless, along with all the BER 13's I have....GAH.

Is this slated for Pub 23?

Is this as intended, or will it be nerfed to live?

I was about to make a run of OMU and TFP but will hold off for a bit if this is going live soon, or will make a small run.

Based on your post, I take it the resources on TC are not good enough to fully test if a BER 11 Med or 14 Heavy is doable, man, this would be cool if it went live!

THX for the great info!

It is in patch notes, but not detailed, the results are matching what the description says so seems intended.

I'd hold off anything you don't absolutely need.

*cough* I made a BER 11 Med!

I will do a BER 14 heavy later and see if I can get a BER 15 fusion, but I personally am not a fan of heavies and so don't have the components lying around (and I'm not running an arch business so don't have stacks of walls around)

THX for the great info!

You're welcome

If anyone has any Architect related questions out of this they want tested post them and I'll see if I can get round to them.

Perhaps for Heavies, you don't need 100%, especially if you used extremley good resources...if this could be tested, that'd be great.

I'll try, for mediums it did have to be 100% on both the Light OMU and the final build (97% and 100% didn't cut it)

Profession: Dancer, Entertainer, Musician

  • Entertainer professions will now be able to apply non-combat profession specific inspiration buffs.

that's the patch note.

I wonder if this will allow artisans/architects to make +45 crafting stations as well.

Hasn't dvnce said that the devs feel the major problem with archy is that there's too many resources, that why none of our concerns are addressed?

Why do people pay to play a MMORPG but not want to interact with other people?
Why, SOELA, why? Did the entire management join a cult, and at the same time perform home lobotomies?
It takes less time to look at the stickies than to ask a question and wait for sarcastic replies. So please oh PLEASE ask the same question many times. I enjoy the sarcastic remarks.

I was wondering that exact same thing. So resource hoarding is the spawn of satan and architects get no bug fixes or new content because of it... yet soon we will be able to make harvesters that extract resources at a higher rate? Gotta love that logic.

I have to believe that 11's and 14's are an unintended effect of the non-combat inspiration buff... and honestly I would rather not see us able to make harvies with those numbers.

- Do we really need BER 11 and BER 14 harvesters? Nope, I'd rather get some new content than have better harvesters.

-If this change goes through then that will be one more thing the devs hang over our heads when denying any sort of bug fixes or content. 'No, we gave you BER 11 and 14 harvesters. That's your new content for the next two years.'

- So now my BER 10's and 13's will be totally worthless? Wonderful, just what I always wanted. And before anybody says they won't be worthless, how many BER 9's and 12's do you currently sell...do you even bother to put them up for sale at all?
