My Warehouse is my Large House (can't see wasting the slots on a Guild Hall), but I would LOVE to see a warehouse.
There may be some other reason you have a large house, but more efficient use of 6 lots for storage would be 3 small houses. A large only holds 250 items, yet takes up 6 lots. 3 small houses would hold 450 items and still only take up 6 lots.
The warehouse idea would be great.
My warehouse is a Wearables Factory. It holds 100 items, and uses only one lot.
Items-per-lot is more important to me than cost-per-item.
Everyone likes the idea of more space to store stuff except the devs who have major database problems.
It will never happen!
What about a new building called "Warehouse"? I think I do not need to tell really more. Its just a structure to store all the stuff a crafter need. I am tired of having more houses then I really need to store the stuff and I cannot arrange a nice living room because all space is blocked by ressources and crates.
I don't think that it must be complicated constructed. Just a primitive house, maybe with a BLL as interface and a storage like the stockroom in a vendor.
What you think about this and if there is already an idea like this and a statement I would like to read it.
I like the idea of a warehouse, but doubt the devs would make it.
However, how about the idea that if someone has mastered a crafting profession, they would be entitled to an extra 100 item storage in their house, regardless of type, provided they keep their master title? If they drop the skill, they loose that extra 100 item storage space. Kinda like a stat modifier or something.
My alt is a master Archi and master Tailor, and my large is too full of stuff for archi so I have to use a seperate house for the tailor stuff. Of course, I could make it easier on myself and place the small house right next to my large instead of clear across the other side of our player city. Doh!
The idea of extra storage for Master Crafter is also good...
