Thread: Masted and droped in 3 hours
Rattled off master weaponsmith from scratch in about 22 hours before ditching it (holocron task). Master Arch in three hours is just ridiculous - nerf those gungan heads!!!

anyone else think this should be like ultima online? 15 seconds per try and .1 XP every 100 to 200 tries and you had to get 120 points so thats roughly 1200 units at 1500-3000 seconds per unit
NOW THAT WAS GRINDING none of this sissy starwars master in an hour crap.
I remember it took me close to 6 months of MANUAL grinding to get to legendary smith, so on tailor i just used a macro and got it in just over a week hehe ![]()
but still this game is **edit** grinding hehe.
Hehe - back when I played UO (on Europa many years ago) it took me about three months+ of hardslog to save up enough for a small house. Now in SWG a newbie just runs missions for an hour and bags a basic deed while moaning about the price - lol!
Kids today, eh? ![]()

ROFLur right hehe this guys have NO IDEA what real grinding is on a game lol and they keep complaining lol
At least you dropped it right away as compared to someone in my server that kept it for aweek and made 700 mediums before dropping it and then tried to sell them within an hour ...
700 ... talk about saturation of the market
It has happened. I saw someone post on one of these boards complaining they had it.
My Holocron told me architect maybe three weeks ago.
I set up some crappy PEMs and one Medium, borrowed 7 lots from a buddy same deal, started mining ore.
Spent two weeks finishing up BH, and then Ranger just because I want to be able to ditch half of scout to free up Skill Points.
I started Sunday (like 2am Sat Night whatever) got Eng IV in what like 2 minutes, another 5 minutes or so made Architect.
Tonight I will hit master. I heard it could be done in 3 hours. Personally I am surprised it takes that long. Its only 260 or so statues on practice mode. Yea I guess thats about right have to train too.
However, although I did make a good handful of statues and a couple fountains, for the most part I made walls (nonpractice mode) and sold them at 6k to masters. Traded 20 walls and 20 structure modules for a 13BER Heavy. Started running around and chasing resource shifts (Lost 1.5 days Sunday early morning - tuesday night cuz i forgot to check monday, then same night early morning the next ore shifted out lost another half day lol), hitting vendors (all empty prices so high) getting stuff from bazaar travelling to each town on Naboo to empty out their bazaar lol.
And here is the thing. At first I was thinking, spend 2 million, buy the resources, grind it in a couple hours.
I am glad I didnt. I have thoroughly enjoyed being an Architect (except last night I ran out of Ore! Man sucks when you have no ore, and you cant find a place to buy it you just stare at the screen and cry lol). I am glad even though I mostly ground my way through it, I have sold some statues and fountains, I am going to start making some furniture too. I made my own BER13 Heavy last night. Felt real good. 8)
Getting architect from my first holocron was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in game to date. Will hold it another couple days maybe depending on what my next holocron says but I guarantee you this... if I ever open my FSCS, my main character is going back to Architect. Never thought I would enjoy crafting as opposed to combat but with the way they did the resource shifting and vendors/merchants, experimentation all that stuff it was really a ton of fun and I can totally see doing it full time.
While I am here not sure if he reads the boards but special thanks to Zackebacca (SoF). Thanks for all the info and advice. I can't believe I actually had fun making all those walls lol.
Well basicaly the holocron told me to.
I spent fourth minutes tracking down 500 k or ore and 250k of crystals.
Crafted four hundred gungan head statues with a macro to switch tools ran six tool
Conclusion: Easy to master, but too complicated i don't get crafting and i don't like trying to track down resources.
Good Luck all
