It took me about a week and a half with no macro help of ANY kind.

There were also no Gungan statues in the game yet.

28 minutes! You must of had an endless supply of resources. Getting the necessary resources is the biggest problem for me. Basically on my own spending what money I have at the Bazaar or the harvester. Looking for ore and gemstone anywhere I can find it.

Harvesters just don't work fast enough!

Luckily when I started, I was just an alt.

Times have changed, tho. Now I am the master!

Are they handing out prizes to people who can master a profession the fastest now?

It's been known for a long time, even before the statues, that if you started with a pile of resources at least 700K high and just burned that pile down you could go from Novice to Master in very little time. It doesn't take talent or brains to do it.

If you were holo-grinding, then good luck on unlocking.

If you intend on staying in the architect *business*, then you now can go start the task of actually assembling the resources, production capacity, and customer base to build a business. You need to learn about experimenting to make high-end harvesters. You need to start planning your factory runs. etc. Your life as an architect is just starting.

well I've been an architect for a couple months now and I still haven't mastered it. Then again I'm one of the people in the game that enjoy the progression to get to master, not achieving it.

if you want to finish it fast, just grind Gungan Head Statues. you'll be master with-in a day... but if you are going to stick with the profession, just make endless walls. you'll be happy to have all those walls once you master.

Ono,

If you have 10 or 20 crafting tools you can do it much quicker.

It took me 10-12 weeks to master architect. I started novice architect and launch. I remember when hand sampling was still used a lot to create resources. We had to save up resources for 3 weeks to make 1 pa hall. Harvestor BERs were a heck of a lot lower.

The good old days.

If you are grinding with a macro then you should be able to do a statue in 4-6 seconds. I believe you need about 280 statues with roughly 1.4M XP required and 5k XP per statue. So you're looking at 18-28 minutes if you grind it straight out not counting time required to train each new skill.

It's taken me around a month and I'm one box away from Master. I don't macro and the vast majority of my experience is from making homes and extractors. I'm just having fun with the profession and not treating it as a track meet.

I have been working on my Architect character since about 2 weeks after release, although I am master in name I am by no means master in reality. I don't think I ever will be, there are so many things I don't know, how can I truly claim to be a master fter just year ?

28 minutes ? I am afraid you are still a novice, no matter what it says on your cv
