The guide says that Master Musicians andMaster Dancers can put up a cantina. Can Master Chefs do this as well? I thought they could but the guide doesn't say it.

Also, can they declare these as their residence? Otherwise they will use almost all their lots just on the two city structures.

If I place a cantina can I still drop my music profession while owning the cantina?

Can a mayor without any entertainer or chef skills place a cantina or our those skills an absolute must for placing the cantina?

Also, barring that scenario, can you have a master musician, master dancer, or master chef place it and transfer it to someone without those skills?

But the Master Dancer/musician/Chef CAN lose their master status, and still retain the building! (small consolation...)

Is that 100%, no question about it confirmed that a Dancer can drop Master and keep the cantina? I know someone that would be very very happy about that.

our cantina was placed by a master musician and then dropped, but the building is no longer showing on on planetary map, but the building is still functioning normally

Plinka Please confirm this, as it would make a great difference to my master dancer who placed it, how about hospitols, would it be the same for a master doc, place it then surrender his skills? I dont care about planetary map if thats all we loose, i have venders in each that are on the map and they are named what the cantina and hospitol are.

I sincerly hope this is the case. The only reason I had master CM in the first place was to fulfill myfirst holocron. Then once I got it, the mayor wanted em to put up a hospital, so I said ok i can hold on to it for 6 more days while the city advances. So I put up the hospital and I am really hoping i can be rid of this horrid skill. And anyone who says it is an exploit can mail a letter to 3 months ago when I might have cared, because if i have to keep a skill i dont want to keep up a hospital for our city, the only exploiting going on is SOE screwing me out of some money.

Our Master Dancer has held the skill for five months now waiting to place a cantina. She's bored sick of it and wants the cantina for RP purposes as part of her other skills, and only wants to retain part of the dancing profession. I hope they don't revoke this, because she will be so thrilled if she can finally give it up. as it was, she would have HAPPILY kept Master ID if that would have allowed her to place the Cantina instead, which it should have.

Just wondering if they will fix that, seems like an exploit to me. But with the lack of masters willing to give up 5 lots and stay master I have a feeling many cities will have to go that route. Also note the theatre is a player dropped structure so more master will be needed to drop them at 3 lots each.
